Was just curious to at what point you would leave the table if you wer up a few buy ins?

Eg

I been on £0.25/£0.50 NL all day and had 1 table where a guy started with £50 and went up to £620!! then lost the lot few hours later.

Not saying names havent seen him before but that is a really good investment compared to the levels and that personally id have stood up at the £300 mark max! but maybe greed got the better of him:)

usually when I'm grinding I'll just carry on playing regardless of a 500bb stack or a 100bb stack

Depends theres a lot of factors to consider.

I mean if there was a great player on my left and he had same size stack as me (300bb+) and no bad players i wouldnt stay on the table.

On the flipside if theres a weak player whos throwing money away it isnt adviseable to leave the table if u trying to make money from the game.

Well I face the same problem sometimes. I go up 1-2 BIs and then I start loosen up, playing rubbish and losing some.

When I double up if I am playing in a tough table I stand up immediately because I know the problems I would face if I stay and of course I want to save my money instead of donating them to someone..

The only factor that should make you stay/leave a table is if the game is good or not.

You're not 'locking anything up' by leaving the table, you're just delaying the time you will play your next hand.

If you have 1000xBB+ like this guy, you're still only playing as deep as the deepest villian on the table which is usually never gonna be anywhere near 1000xBB.

are you better than the players? if so sitting deeper is better.

plus everyone can only buy in for 100bbs anyway so they will be those and a few people with like 200-250bbs..so youl only be playing there effective stacks.

or was this one really good game? and if so why the heck would you want to leave
