tin big props to u for doing this 4nl is a tough place, not to beat but the bad beat u get given pfff real test of tilt control all the best on ur chagle btw was ur c4p from 10nl ?  or 4nl last month i mean.

i got to 8500 last month, about 6500 was from a couple of weeks at nl10 the other 2k was from nl4 plus i never played much over last week of the month.

ive had more than my share of bad beats, and it is tough to keep things under control. i do dish the odd 1 out altho they are very rare, which helps when i get one going my way. they still hurt but when you are seeing so many per day you learn to shrug them off to an extent

thanks to c4p i was able to step up and get a few hours in at the nl10 tables. it went well.... for a change. managed to scoop a few buyins. a few more sessions and this months points total will be ticking over nicely and i can maybe think about moving up the leaderboard instead of slowly slipping down it.

    fair play to you tintin.

I did a 2.5hr 5 table session which is long for me....my eyes are sore, must have been brutal for you when you made priority......you are a grinding machine :)

its the same as everything the more you do it the easier if feels. honest.

i try to limit my sessions to around the 2.5-3 hour mark then take half an hour break for those purposes. yeah it was hard getting priority because i had to put in the hours because i was limited to 6 tables. its a little easier now because i can up the tables but drop an hour or 2 out my old schedule

i'm starting to play more cash now (not enough to get in top 20 for this promo)....do you stay on the same tables for the whole session? what factors do you take into account when it comes to moving tables?

i ask because 4 of my tables went ok but one was a nightmare....should I just leave and join a new one?

i tend to stick to the same 1's when playing, i will move on if i have tough opponent who has position on me and im not coping well with it at the time or if someone who is classed as "value" has left and its just a table full of tough regs left. if you find a table you just cant get to grips with then stand as soon as you like and find another. the first 1 there is impossible this month tbh as there will always be someone with this promo going on.

theres no rules regarding how long to wait, just move til you find the right table for you

break or bed time, im not sure yet. been a good day so far. up a few buyins overall altho i did donk a couple off there in my last session. also earned a fair few points today despite only playing nl4 for half the 1st happy hour.

i think the tables are going to be mental at the weekends, must have been pushing on 20 tables going at nl10, i was sat on 12 for the most part and there was still the mastercash n deepstack tables that i wasnt near. it certainly the most i can remeber seeing especially recently.

anyway now to decide what to do, ive already played 10 hours today, dont want to burning out

played for half an hour there, going to bed would have been the better option. time to log off before tilt take over, ruined most my good work from earlier, not happy more at myself than anything else

got a 4.5 hour session in so far today, taking a break for soccer saturday, and things went well to start, got a few buyins in front then happy hour approach n i ran into a couple of monsters, kk v aa qq v aa where i lost stacks, but still ended the session in front by a couple of BI.

i got a fair few points but then i did start most of the tables as when i logged on at 9:30 there wasnt a single nl10 table running, even had to play the couple of nl8 tables that were running to tide me over.

anyway now past the 2k mark and the latest leaderboard shows me up to 7th and im sure all but 1 above me are playing exclusivley nl20 so still playing catch up.

another 2 hours down and its turning into the rollercoaster show. i cant string 2 winning sesions together, what i moved in front this morning went in that session. it seems to be when happy hour is about to start the doom switch appears. i did play 1 hand sooooo bad i got what i deserved. i got lucky early doors when i flopped a set of jacks v kings so i cant say its all going against me but 2 or 3 winning sessions back to back would be nice if only for a confidence boost

m8....am i a seriously poor cash playe??r....be brutally honest if need be, I have lost 8 buy ins in 3 sessions.

I dont know how much attention you have been paying to my game as we havent crossed swords a great deal, but you are obv a very good cash player....i'm quite new to the cash tables but not sure whether I should give it up as a bad job.

I seem to run up a decent stack then run KK into AA etc....any advice?
