Hello all, I'm new to Sky. Have been enjoying playing with everyone so far. Couple of points mostly relating to microstakes, some re-inforcing what others have mentioned:
Having a code you need to enter the promo is pretty stupid. No need for nonsense surrounding people who enter later and it cuts the slim possibility that someone will miss out altogether if they fail to enter it.
Unfair to 10NL and under players with the way the tiers are structured. This group is already subject to a ridiculous 7.5% rake (compared with 5% from 20NL upwards) and encouraging them to grind their rolls to nothing, with little chance of hitting a paid spot, does nothing for the liquidity of the site. Firmly believe they should have their own tier.
Determining which tier the various tables fall under by the small blind was not clear and I would not have known that 20/20p action tables were actually in the mid tier if I had not read this thread. Although this was owing to my laziness in not reading the info properly, I'm sure some others made the same mistake. While I understand the rationale behind this of aiming for a fairer distribution, the only effect it seems to have had is to put regs off from starting games or playing on the 'borderline' action tables. Either they are not in the tier they are aiming for or will not generate enough points.
In the same way as having a TV table means you might be shown on air, so opting in is probably neccessary for data protection reasons.
Although defining levels by small blind is pretty nasty, it is neccessary to avoid the action tables being at the top of each level - I'm pretty sure Sky would like the action to be on regular tables.

As long as you enter the code by the 20th October, then it will count ALL cash points earned during October, whether you earned them before entering the code or not.
Wow, shows how little volume is going on at the bottom end of the table. I had 57 points yesterday and wasn't on the top 100, I played 8NL for 4 hours and am now 64th
im on 137 points is that not enough to see myself on the list,i think points should be put at the side of the players to know what your targeting Posted by ravidixo07
Must be fairly close then cos I was on 204 when this list went up and I'm 64th.
EDIT: Have you entered the promo code yet? Cos you won't be on the list if you haven't.

In Response to Re: The King of Cash - Top 100 Thread : The points per player will not be published. Two reasons predominantly...... a) It would or could be misleading, as players do not have to, or may not, opt-in until later in the month, & if points per player were published prior to that, it would then prove to be seriously misleading. Note that even if a player chooses not to opt-in until, say, 20th October, ALL HIS OR HER OCTOBER POINTS will still count. b) I'm not entirely sure that the Business has the right to publish individual player performances, as the D-P regulations are onerous & complex. lol I made 100 points yesterday and moved up to 12th... Posted by NColley
Wow so still closein the top 20 then? lol.
That's great news for me and I've decided to actually try to do this now. I went from 57 points to 328 in the last 2 days and that put me from not even on the list to 48th.
