My first day at sky poker and my aim for the month is 45k points which will hopefully win me 'Cash K

I won't be playing any stakes higher than 30nl.  I also have a couple of weekends where I can't play at all.

Is 45k to much to ask of myself?

Can someone give me an insight to the bonuses of priority club?

What does the priority club cash ladder usually pay out at different levels? 10k, 20k 30k etc etc.

Thank you for any help/advice!

    I thought 'King of Cash' hopefuls would avoid 30nl in the main, it's going to be difficult for you up against all the 50nl grinders.........

    45k should be more than enough for a top 5 spot though, gl.

    I doubt it can be done.

    someone grinded the **** out of NL10 and scraped into 10k points, 6 tabling for like 12 hours per day, and during all the happy hours. 30NL you only get double what you do at 10NL so i think maybe 25/30k is reasonable depending

    i wouldnt say it couldnt be done but it would involve an extrreme amount of volume. i have have no idea of your background so cant comment on how many tables and for how many hours it would take.

    there would be obvious problems along the road like not getting enough tables runnning at certain times of the days to fit your needs. theres also the fact that if your playing up to nl30 then you are playing thru 2 different levels for the purposes of this cash king promotion. ie nl30 is the bottom level available for mid stakes so it would be tough to be up against the nl50 grinders who are putting in just as much voluime at a higher points rate, but if you were also playing nl20 or lower then you are qualifying for the low stakes so you may have conflicting scores that hamper progress in levels

    Didn't you have a prop bet written in this? Edited i guess lol, cos i would of layed a chunk on it that you aint grtting 45k from playing no higher than 30nl

    I did have a prop bet included but it seems to have been removed.  Do the modertaor's usually do this?

    Ok, so I think this is going to be slightly harder than I first thought.  The reasons being:

    1.  Lack of traffic
    2.  I get major lag when playing more than 8 tables (any suggestions how I can fix this?)
    3.  I have nights out planned where I'm staying away at least 1 night.
    4.  I'm a fitness freak and gym everyday aswell as play football on Saturday's and train Tuesday's.

    Having said all that I will still accomplish my goal and would like to take wagers but obviously they can't be sorted out on here.  Any suggestions?

    more information would be good.

    how many tables are you playing and for how long and are you playing all the happy hours?

    if you've been hammering it then as i first thought you're on course to reach 30k, but without playing 18 hours per day every day you'll really struggle to get to 45k

    Hi Pipunch.

    Can I only play 7 tables due to lag, so tilting!

    I haven't really been doing uber volume as of yet but I'm not shy to put in a 30 hour grind when I need to.

    On a diff site I would 20-24 table for 17 hours a day, 6 days a week.  But no can do here.

    You have remembered to put in the promotion codes for Cash 4 Points and the King of Cash, haven't you?

    I would imagine that 2100 points would have seen you on the leaderboard but I can't find you on there.

    You have remembered to put in the promotion codes for Cash 4 Points and the King of Cash, haven't you? I would imagine that 2100 points would have seen you on the leaderboard but I can't find you on there.

    Hey.

    GL with your challenge.  Gonna be so tough hitting 45k.  During January I got 60k but that was playing 12 to 20 tables of 50 thru to 200nl.

    A quick tip is that the 20p/20p Action tables will count towards the middle leaderboard so you might wanna add those in when its quiet, as well as some 40 and 50nl.

    With regards to lagging, I did suffer some lag with my computer a few months ago and I did a full virus scan/spyware check as well as checked all the background programmes that were running on my computer that might be hogging some bandwidth.  This did help so might be worth giving your computer a quick look over.

    Hi scotty.

    Thank you for your post.  Always nice to hear from fellow grinders.

    I have been playing abit of 20/20.  I just really play anything thats going tbh.  Aslong as its no higher than 30nl.  Will up stakes when I get used to the software and after the month is out.

    I'm terrible with PC stuff.  I never have anything else running as this would mean I couldnt run 5 tables.  Could really do with knowing a computer guy in Newcastle.

    Ok, I behind schedule and am away all next weekend so best hit it.

    P.s £4.50 cockatils were fun last night but not so fun now!  Hate hungover grinds!

    Can normally put in 16-17 hours.  More if need be.

    Sleep is for the weak :-)
