Hi,

Just getting into posting hands so apologies if these are standard / a bit dull.

Any thoughts on how I played this, would you be calling?

Cheers,
Doug

    we're ahead of his range

about a 60% favourite considering he could be doing this with overs (which are unlikely to be KK QQ AA due to action pre) any random 65 two pair hand, a set, possibly a pair + straight draw

just get the money in and if he's ahead then it's a cooler. you're a big favourite against the hands he can be doing this with so you have to get it in. if you're behind to the straight you still have some outs, if it's set over set then unlucky

Thanks again, turns out one of them had the straight, but as long as my money was in good for the long term, I can live with that.

    Cheers,
    Doug

    Raise the flop.

Raise more on the turn (don't like min-raises).

Do what you can to get it in.

Cheers Lambert. I put that advice into practice this afternoon and it paid off nicely!

Flop you can raise, flat fine IMO

Just fist pump jam turn when it comes to you first time. If you folded here for 45p give yourself a Chinese burn

LOL, no I called but he had a straight. I would probably call if it happened again though.

Yeah, alot of the time he won't have a straight and even when he does, you have a fair few outs to a FH
