I play only on a laptop and can do four tables without a problem on miniview and 6 at a push with a bit of overlap.

you can connect a mouse to it no prob, I play all my poker on a laptop, and as long as the spec is good enough you shouldn't have a problem

I used to play all my poker on a laptop and could comfortably manage 4 tables.

I invested in a desktop and decent monitor earlier this year and must admit, I do much prefer playing on the desktop.
