Yes, get all your usual stuff in to us on this thread below and, for a chance to win the free seat into Thursday Sky Sports Bounty Hunter, have a crack at this...

Tell us about a comedy error you've made.

Your answers can be related to poker or related to real-life. Whatever floats your boat.

e.g Did you once announce all-in accidentally with rubbish cards because you were slightly worse for wear (as I did in a London casino?)
Did you turn up in fancy dress to a party where nobody else was in fancy dress?
Did you go to completely the wrong airport to catch a flight?
Did you sit down at a cash table only to realise it was full of sharks and pros?

    You get the gist.

Try and keep them humorous please!
The best answer in our opinion will win the seat.

Good luck and see you tonight at 7!

"What's the biggest mistake you've ever made?"

Richard Orford clearly trying to make people cry again. Shame on you!

Regrets?  I have a few.  But then again too few to mention.  Someone should write a song about that.  I've emptied the clip into quads a few times now.  Not a nice thing to do but live and learn.

One thing I have never regretted doing was attending the SPT's and if you can get to the SPT this weekend even if you play the side events.  It is immense fun and you can learn loads talking to the regs and just watching.

Also- got any decent hand i.d.s for us to look at? Good talkign point ones that we can mask the hole cards on and then guess what your opponent had?

One of my biggest mistakes I have made is in my choice of friends. One of my best mates is having his 30th birthday do this weekend which means I have to miss the SPT!

Good luck to everyone at the SPT

One of the biggest mistakes of my life was when i was with my ex i took her for granted and went out with my m8es all the time rather then spend more time with her :( if i could only turn back the clock

Thanks for the hand requests, mate.

As for your competition entry, I've slightly amended the question so we're now looking for funny stories only.

Send us another one and I'll read it out :-)

My comedy error was back when I was at school. For some strange reason I entered into an inter-schools cross country race. It all started off OK, until I realised after about only the 2nd or 3rd lap I was being lapped by the leaders, so doing the manly thing I quit and finished a lap early. I didn't realise however I actually crossed the finish line and not step out of the race. They handed me something as I crossed the line, but in my state of exhaustion I didn't look at it until a few minutes later. It turned out it was actually the 5th place badge which qualified me for the national cross country championships!
I ran it in for a laugh, needless to say I didn't challenge the leaders!!

    hi both

    biggest mistakes
Poker. When i was living in Bolton i once drove down to Walsall to play in a GUKPT £150 side event. struggled down the M6 to get there, bought in, sat down, 1st hand KK, all in called by AA, 5 blanks, go past the queue for the tournament, back in car, back up M6!
Life, 19, went to stop with the girlfriend whilst her parents were on holiday. phone rang, girlfriend answered it, no one there. she was a bit shook up about as last time her parents were away she had got a lot of no-one there phone calls. i said, if it rings again, i'll answer it!! It rings. Hello! i say, no answer, Right listen here you expletive expletive, **** OFF!! A voice came back, Is Sarah there?, Me "Who wants to know?", Caller - "Alan", Me "Oh yes Alan, and why exactly do you want to know?" "i'm her Dad!" Me - Drop phone!
Ho Hum! Hav a good night, c u at the SPT on Saturday!

I was playing 5p/5p cash last night and I made the error of shoving JJ into my opponents KK.  Standard you think but the lucky so and so had AA the hand before and won a big pot with that too!  Keep up the run good Ryan

the other day in my new job my manager said 'see you in 6 months!'

as she's really slim and had a huge baby bump i wished her good luck with giving birth. i couldn't quite understand why she stormed off and everyone else started laughing at me.

    turns out it's a hernia.

My 'comedy error' was proposing to Emma (Llamas)... I was supposed to arrange something while we were seeing Michael McIntyre live in Birmingham, the whole plan failed, ended up getting lost on the way home because the M42 was closed. Emma eventually navigated us home (I'm rubbish with that stuff) and we got there by about 3:30am. Then I ended up proposing when Emma was very tired and in a foul mood... not great on my part!

When I was a lot younger and so was the wife(then the girl friend), I was posted to the Falklands for a 4 month Stint. I decided to kindly lend her the T.V. and Video from my room in the block so she could watch T.V. and films in our flats bedroom. It was only when I was 1/2 way to the South Atlantic that I remebered that I'd left a video tape in the video player. It was a film of a 'more adult nature' and there was nothing I could do to remedy the situation. Was about a month before the 'snotty' letter arrived asking me to explain myself.
