Good evening everyone, This is my first time posting so i hope im doing the right thing. I have been playing on sky poker for a few months now and i wanted to play a live event. I was hoping to play in the SPT Luton on the 8th December 2012 but have been told i cannot buy direct into this event, and that i either win my seat or be a priority points player.
As i play low stakes i average around 400-700 points per month. Is there anyway i can buyin to these game direct on Sky Poker or in person at the Casino?
Hope this makes sence.
Thanks guys.

So they'll probably start them early November, then I imagine IF they don't fill the seats through satellites and direct buy-ins from priority members by the late November, then they will allow anyone to buy-in direct through Sky but there's no guarantee they won't sell out.
If they do sell out, there will probably still be alternates on the day, which is basically where you can put your name on a list to play, and they will keep seating people as people get knocked out for the first level or two (this is dependent on the casino though)
As said above there is no guarantee you will get a seat and it sometimes depends on how many/if any players get knocked out in the 1st couple of levels too.
Don't rely on me for an early exit though.....i'm too tight
Satellites will start on Monday 5th November or Tuesday 6th November.
If - IF - the seats do not all go, Direct sales will open a week or so before the Event, whch is, I think, 8th December.
The seats for the £110 one-dayers tend to go quite quickly, so try & qualify early.
As mentioned by others, Alternates ARE available on the day, but it's a bit harem-scarem, so qualification is the best - & cheapest - route.
See you there!
