Weekend Football Bets

I can't remember the last time I saw a half decent Aston Villa performance.  I can remember the last time I saw Norwich play out of their skin.  It was last week.

I've gone for Norwich to triumph over Aston Villa at Villa Park at 31/10.

    first team ive stuck down too funnily. if it wasnt for the whole lambert thing then i might have actually plumped for villa. but his old club's desire and will to get one over on him makes 3/1 look good value

    Newcastle are 13/5 to draw at home to West Brom.  I think this is good value given West Brom's superb form and that Newcatle have had to play in the Europa League mid-week.

    Agree that Norwich are prob a good price....

    but...

    2 v poor teams, dinnertime kick off, I can see it being a drab game, 1 goal in it either way maybe. 0-0 prob the most likely result. but 3/1 is good so I've gone with them.

    2 bets stand out for me today though.

    BOTD is Reading @ home to Fulham, closely followed by WHU away @ Wigan, both over 2/1

    Had a couple of quid on Norwich/WHU/Reading treble @ 37/1

    And a tenner double on WHU/Reading @ 19/2.

    Also £1 longshot acca for interest in the lower leagues......

    As a Hammers fan, I learned long ago never to back them.  Fwiw I think if Caroll starts Wigan will roll us over.  I hope I'm wrong.

    I often wonder where the bookies get these in play prices from.  22-1 is ridiculous.

    I agree. So was the defending for that goal.

    Games there to be win if NCFC can sort it out in the final third! 

    Villa got nowt to come. P!ss poor as predicted.
