    Fail!
No Derby celebration there. I thought that one might be coming :)
It did take me a while to find the Derby win.

Just thought I should point out that I neither work for YouTube or expect any payment for clicking on my link

Adebayor vs Arsenal. He then stamped on RVP later on in the same game.

    Deserves a knighthood.

Enjoyed going over to Dtd on Friday and Saturday nights.
Met up with some friends in Stapleford first on Friday. I don't use those bus things normally but had no choice. Went through some dubious places on my way to a dubious place. Was hopeful my bus had bulletproof glass.

Was good to see a lot of old faces and also meet some new ones. Saw Percival again for the first time in a couple of years. We've had a couple of online disagreements but having greeted each other with "little xxxxxx" and "lanky turdd" we got on fine. Divsdreams was a very nice chap. GSmith was very similar to how he is online.

Got stupid drunk and arrived home about 4am. Realised that sleep wasn't an immediate option and so went for a walk. Seems perfectly reasonable to do this in a tshirt and shorts when it's minus 3. Lived in Mickleover all my life. Realised after a while that I was lost. Thought I'd call a cab. No phone!
    Got home somehow.

Watched Derby and went back to bed with a headache. Went back over to Dtd and immediately bumped into the wonderful Mrs Brom. She commiserated with me on Derbys fortunes this year and admitted that we're a far better team than Burnley

Played a little last night. Lost £200 :(

I'd do the "I'm not going to post for a while" thing but I'd end up looking foolish as normal. The forum is very addictive.
Real life is rather grotty at the moment and I just may be slipping into grump mode again.

    Right, table tennis time.

I'm glad you had an enjoyable weekend Jac. It was good seeing you again, and I do hope I got my point across about online interpretation of messages and other things. I think we're quite similar in that we're not afraid to be "insulting" if it's warranted, without hurling abuse of course, and sometimes even the most constructive of messages can be misinterpreted, but anyway, I'm glad we cleared a few things up. And besides, I had no hard feelings whatsoever about anything and I hope I made that abundantly clear. I was drunk tho so who knows hehe

    Decent start to the month
Won £45 last night in an hour playing dyms and tonight has gone well.

Played a few dyms early on and won £29.99.
Played the single rebuy and came 7th for £60.50. That peasant Cpfc knocked me out. Said peasant won it in the end.
Played the main and had the worst slowroll against me that I've ever seen. Then, that peasant Cpfc knocked me out.
Played a Vegas micro sat and had an unfortunate temporary blip of forgetting how to play poker at all
    Played the 7.30 £22 and came 3rd for £162 + £40.78 in heads.

Nice to quickly get Sundays losses back plus a bit.
Pleased that the dyms are back on track as well. January was pretty terrible and I was down £528 at one point. Now only £33 down for the year at them and so heading in the right direction.
    ....
Decided that as I'm fat I need to get fitter.
Buying a bike tomorrow. About 15 years since I rode a bike and so needed to do a bit of research.
Don't want to spend much. Calibre two two seems to be my best bet from Go Outdoors. Excellent reviews and down to only £329.99

If anyone knows of anything better for a similar price then please let me know, quickly.

    Thanks for that
    Between these two I think.
Going to be mostly on the road so the calibre might just be edging it

There's an incredible diary on another forum that I read.

It's by a brilliant player who is making amazing  sums of money at poker.
He's a bit different as well.
His latest post is pure gold.

His chef took his meal to someone else by mistake. The he met the someone else for coffee and they're going to put an app out there that will make lots of money.

He sent his assistant out to buy a calendar, a green pen and a red pen.
Reason being this will now allow him to mark on the calendar the days that he's been good in green and the days when he's been bad in red.

He's involved in a football team. He couldn't go to the last match but if he had they would have won so he's feeling a bit sad about that.
    ...

I thought that I could be random.

Glad you had a good time at DTD. Shame we didn't get a chance to have a drink, did you leave Fri night/early Sat?

I heard about the bolded bit. It's genuinely baffling (to me) why anyone would want to behave like that in a group full of such friendly, welcoming people.

You had mentioned that you had work the next day, and I was only doing my best to ensure you had an early night.
