UKOPS 2 Question.

I notice UKOPS 2 has a......
Main which is a rebuy £55     - £15k Gte
Mini  which is a rebuy £5:50  - £2.5k Gte
Side  which is a BH  £110      - £5k Gte (TV)

Why the difference?  Just wondering......................

    Which difference exactly?

    The side event is a TV tournament but the main and mini are rebuys so they can't be televised...

    The Side event has a smaller guarantee (presumably) because the suits think far more people will play the main and the main is also a rebuy so doesn't need 300 seperate runners to make it's guarantee...

    Erm... did you mean something else?

    Not sure I understand your question, sorry?

    Do you mean why are the Main & Mini both BH's, whereas the Sidey is a Roller?

    If so, it's for balance, "something for everyone", & you'll find that pattern repeats on 7 of the 8 nights, where the Sidey will be a different format to the Main & Mini. The Main & Mini, traditionally, are generally the same format.
     
    If that was not the question, ignore all that, & clarify the question, & I'll try & respond.

    & the main isn't cheaper than the sidey unless you don't rebuy or add-on

    I also have a question...

    Why are the 'UKOPS 2 micro sats' (£2.60) saying you win a seat into the 8.45pm semi final when the main event starts at 8pm???

    Hi golden,

    Probably just an error. Only the first one says that, all the others say 6pm I think, though perhaps they have been corrected since you spotted it.

    It is in the Lobby, it is the £15,000 Guaranteed Tourney that starts at 8pm.

    The nightly Main Events on Sky Poker always commence at 8pm.
