Exit from tonight Main Event

I think this hand is pretty much standard and the money was always going in, just a case of how it got there.  I took the 3x line with the intention of getting it in if I got a customer but the more I think about it the more I dislike this line. My other options are min raise (but again I don't see me getting away from this hand) or shove.  Taking the result of this hand out of the equation, with stacks as they are and with 16 places from the bubble should this always be a shove or is there merit in taking a different line?

First to go so probably wrong. M=10 so a bit too big to shove maybe. i think i'd have min raised then if given a 'real' sized rer i'd have ai'd.

TBH as it stands his RER is rather small and possibly aimed to induce the shove so i think i'd have then just called to see a flop. Once i see that HORROR flop, i'm off TBH Sly. It just hits his raising range too well though with an m of 7 or so by the flop the flush drawouts may have been too tempting to resist as i'd be feelng for sure that i was behind by this stage.

One thing also is that previous hands between you do have an influence too don't they. Had he tried to knock you off a pot before?

I don't know where you stood average pot-wise but looking at the others it may have been fairly far adrift so if i was and appeared desperate to others, i may have just shoved and took my chances!!!

So how about that Sly.........i've worked it around so that the only thing i didn't include was a fold!!!!!!............................................................................................mmmmmmmmmm..............

We want him to do something creative, so min raising is clearly the better option.

Can't 3x/fold Tens otb from 15xbb, that wud be aspjemjiohjcuoehjcouhwuchuowchj bad!

So min raise, 4-bet shove any raise?

I guess this also gives an escape route if he flats and donks out on a scary board too.

I wouldn't say it's definitely too much to shove... depends if you've normally been just open jamming with 15xBB stacks. But yeah min-raising is always better because it's what you'd do with EVERYTHING else, and it gives people the illusion they can call/raise with weaker hands. Don't ever fold though, just sigh

at this late stage u still get the same job done with a min raise i dnt like the 3 x late stages in mtts if your stealing blinds or raising with gd hands shoulds always be a min raise late stages u save so many chips this way with your flop bet n turn bet size sample

min raise does a better job. 

Assume we are reasonably aggressive, and opponent is reasonably aggressive/decent, with no reads/history with him or the small blind.....

Rough range he jams over a min raise......
