Well hello SPT Luton Satellites.......

Satellites for SPT Luton start TODAY.

Price begin at £5.20, with the Semi-Final at 9.30pm tonight priced at £24.

They are all listed in the Satellite Lobby.

The Event  - a £110 one-dayer - takes place on December 8th.
 
There will be a Friday Night Sidey at Luton, if anyone fancies it.

    really interested in entering (or trying to anyway) but this would be my first live event, would this be a suitable event for first timers or should i be looking at other tournaments first?

    very suitable. In fact few more suitable

    We are used to lookin after "live" beginners, doing live tutorials beforehand on what to look for and what to do

    Very friendly atmosphere, helpful dealers. Players will help too

    I recommend it.

    I would recomend anyone use this platform for their 1st live tourny.

    Better to play your 1st live event with online friends than to play in a live venue full of strangers imo.

    You will find the Sky Staff and venue staff are usually very helpful - Just get their as early as you can, introduce yourself and let them know and i'm sure they will point you in the right direction.

    It's also helpful to meet up with online friends as you can ask them for advice before the game starts too.

    well i think i will give it a go, got to try at some point. just building up my BR a little at the moment, how long are the satellites running for? is it up to the day before? or just until its full

    Until its full, or if doesn,t fill which is doubtfull imo ( Due to it being £100 buy in as opposed to £200 or £300 ) Priority members get 1st dabs on buying in if it doent fill

    Priority members can buy in direct now I think. The 1st semi only produced 6 seats....but there are 7 already in the lobby.

    i am absolutely delighted to be forced to reveal my real self (and indeed gender) at the luton spt. i cannot wait to meet up with as many sky people as possible - really excited!!!!!!!! mind you i might wear a kendo nagasaki mask - lol

    Spare a thought for my wife (daughter to you Tikay ;)) who bubbled the semi on Friday and yesterday.

    She so wants to qualify and not play gooseberry for the weekend! Let's hope she can make it 3rd time lucky!
