turned trips bvb facing river raise

villain is a reg swapped a couple of pots back and forth across a few tables this session but not seen do anything out of line. I bet all streets for value but face a river raise.

when i bet the river I have a lot of Ax in his range but when he raises I take them all back out again. Can this be a missed draw/weaker Kx often enough to call?

    Have to call imo, what are we really scared of... 55, 66, AA, AK, KQ, KJ, K5 and K6, that's about it. You'll know better than me if he'd call your raise pre with K5/K6, I'm sure he wouldnt just flat with AA or AK, and probably not even AQ or AJ when he's IP and it's BvB... I also think it's VERY unlikely he calls 2 streets with 55, so it's getting pretty thin on the number of hands he's likely to have that beat you.

    check flop or bet call river imo. against alot of people river can just be a b/f.

    ok cheers bet call was my line but got me wondering how many hands i actually am ahead of in this spot. i guess bvb there can be weaker kings but i wonder if these hands are more likely to be raised on the turn or flatted on the river by a competant player.

    I think I was at the table for this hand lol.

    I like the size of your river bet, but I think it's a bet/fold.

    Not many regs are raising Ax hands here. And imo it is never a busted FD, manly because of the size of the raise.

    It looks like its begging for a call.
