    Decline! But only because over time I'll make more than 20k anyway (Hopefully). If I was offered more than I would earn then I'd stop playing.

    HMM its a tough one but id probably deal, atm im around £500 down since i started playing properly about 4/5 months ago and although im slowly bringing that back and will hopefully be in profit soon i think the £20000 would be to much to turn down :)

    OP should change thread to XXXX Buy-ins at your regular level. Like 1000BI or something, imo. :)

    [EDIT: And adding a poll might be a better way to view results ;)]

    Love poker but no question I'd take that money.

    The sad part is that I'd probably still watch and read poker related stuff, but then for me that side of poker has been much like being entertained by stars in other disciplines, something to admire rather than aspire to - as I know I can never even come close to the thought processing and sheer gambling big-balls of the best live and online big hitters!

    I'd accept 2m in a heartbeat. Much more profitable ventures with that much capital behind you. I'd accept an amount which was equal or greater to - family home+furnishings+money for kids+sufficient capital to invest elsewhere while we worked, so ~£600k

    Id accept £20000 but only if i couldnt play online for 1 year but could take the 20 grand and use it as my Vegas roll this summer!

    Yeah, I'm of the opinion that if I wanted to make more than £20k from poker, I probably could in the long term (hubris?) and I'd enjoy doing it too.

    So I think my price would have to be quite high. I'd say I'd give up poker for £500k

    hmmm what to do,20k is life changing to me but then id lose my hobby which would be bad news in my house :)
    im a break even player(not atm tho) so i,ve played for free since being on sky and i play almost every night,it would be gut wrenching not to play poker so i think i,d decline
    must try harder to get better but the swings do affect my confidence some (most)nights i think i conna play the game at all :))    **** swingy game dont you just luv it

    I'd probably deal for a 20 spot tbh so £20k is hovering over the accept button waiting to snap
