Just been watching online videos on you tube and come to the conclusion that tony g is the biggest a#,.hole in the poker world, does anyone agree or think he is outdone by anyone.
i used to detest his OTT antics but over the years i've warmed to him,
this guy used to play nose bleed cash games in russia before the phrase was even coined...hopefully there'll be a biography out at some point, would be some read!
If I find time over the weekend, I'll write a Blog about Tony, he is full of contradictions, & there are some - I think - quite interesting angles to it.
I need to get caught up on some other stuff first, but I'll try & get it done.

He's a great player but sometimes I feel he doesn't show enough respect to his opponents. He's very proud of his Lithuanian roots though and did you know that he was the manager of the Lithuania basketball team at the London olympics?
Maybe Tony is but i'd watch him at a table rather than the likes of some of these 'kids' as they have nothing to talk about. He has personality!!! They are generally lacking in personality and have little if any experience of the real world. Sitting in front of a screen for 8 hoursa day when they are not playing live does not make for a life of experience. Bring me Tony G on a poker show rather than that. When the autobiography comes out, i'll be first in the queue. I bought Matusows book and he's another guys people like or love because he has a voice and some life in him. His book is good but there's still a dark side to him, methinks. Person i can't stand at poker is Dave Ulliot, pompous, cocky, and abusive......but i'd watch to see him tilt!!!!
I actually interviewed him for WPT Poker a few years back. I can honestly say he came across as an incredibly gracious guy, humble and modest. In his own words, he gets caught up in the emotion of the game and he wants to win so badly that, at times, it makes him act up.
I have to say I am, personally, a fan. He's a quality player without any doubt and anyone who chides Phil Hellmuth as much as he does has to be a bit of a legend He does overstep the mark from time to time, but doesn't poker need its panto villains?

im not questioning his brillance at the poker tables but his manners and arragance towards some players is well over the top and not needed imo
