Is this correct to raise AI considering stack size or should i wait to shove considering ss?

    Ok, I put the effort in to try to decipher this one seen as it's only preflop lol.

    So it's 1k/2k

    He raises 3x to 3k, and you jam for 10k with A9o.

    To be honest I think you can fold here, you have very little FE when he makes it 3x and you only have 10xBB. The only reasoning would be if its standard for him to 3x at this high a blind level (cos it aint normal or optimal) AND if you've seen him make terrible fishy raise/folds when stack sizes say you just can't do it.

    Otherwise fold pre. Open jamming with A9 with this is fine from SB, Button, CO, maybe even Hi-jack but over a 3x, you won't get folds often enough and won't be in great shape when you get called.
