i backed universal soldier in the 4 miler at the festival and over this trip and ground im going back in again but seriously concerned by dashing george who handles cut and ran very well lto on good and mark remains unchanged and the good Doctor in form to boot.

ive also selcted lamb or cod but is drifting like the proverbial barge across the board , hope this is rather a case of money coming for black thunder.

    All Haydock

    1255   Lamb Or Cod 15/2
    200     Universal Soldier 3/1
    230    Sivola de Sivola 5/1
    305     Weird Al (NAP)  11/2
    340     Master Overseer  5/1

    10 x £1 trebles 5 x £1 4 folds  £1 e/w accum

    £20 ASCOT treble

    210 Ascot  Finians Rainbow evs
245 Ascot  Oscar Whisky 4/5 (nb)
    320 Ascot  Pepite Rose 3/1

champion court quickly becoming one of my favs but trip and going are big negatives and see this more of a pipe warmer for better things this season, and pepite rose can continue upward curve and she can score for in form Vanetia Williams. Hendserons 2, while not bombproof, will take all the beating and if fully primed will both win (dont think OW will need to be 100 % to take this)

    £50 single WEIRD AL  11/2

First time out is the time to catch this fragile horse, has won all 4 occasions 1st time out and nicely fresh for this. Also on soft/heavy, record reads 4 wins and a 2nd, and runs in small fields yield 5 victories and a 3rd (in this last year, just 3 weeks after winning Charlie Hall) and can reverse the 2l with then second place Long Run, on this surface.

well done to captain chris , disappointed in him last year, great return to form and on ground i wouldnt have thought would suit either so hopefully hes turned a corner, finians rainbow well held, no real excuses on the day, should strip fitter and step up in trip looms.

thought pipe was nailed on with his new french raider in the fixed brush about 5 out, young O'farrell hadnt moved a muscle until the mistake stopped him in his tracks, interesting to see what price he touched in running 3 out

happy to scrape the place on sivola de sivola pays for the days almost rans
