His turn bet looks weak on flushing board, seems like a bona fide hand is likely to bet close to pot or even shove turn.

Looks a good candidate to call down to me

Easy call against a random what is he repping? a6, or a2, 66. Then a 2 comes on the river.  So only hands we lose to is a6 or 66 snap call imo.

when its BvB and 74eff and his raising flop IP i'm only calling flop if prepared to call any turn/river. And for that really i need a read... until then i think i fold turn.  thats just me tho but i've tighten up ALOT BvB ovr the last year.

would need a read to call it down.

if you're calling the flop to let him bluff it off then call it down but if you're not then the information you're given suggests you're behind or at best calling for a split on the river.

against an unknown im more likely to call it down tho

I though this was close, A9 is quite weak to call down with but there was a draw out there and a good case that he could be semi-bluffing. On the flop i wasn't sure where i was but i called regardless and as bearlythere said his turn bet stank of weakness, and was somewhat comfortable then on to call down (esp on a brick river).

I don't think this play is great readless though (hence the post) and as for reasons mentioned in above posts, but he had Kd4d for the draw, lucky/correct this time? maybe not in the long run!?

Overall by reading above posts i reckon the play is ok, albeit reading the board/ bet sizing etc. Thanks for posts guys.
