What is the best way to play small stake (if that makes a difference) dym's? Play tight, fold most hands or play more loose like a normal sit n go? Posted by ididit14
play tight, have u read john connor's blog 'abc of dym's'? it's a great guide and i'm sure will help you. it is in the blogs section somewhere. i'm sure someone will be kind enough to post it up for you, sorry i can't. gl dev
Outta interest... if everyone starts to read that blog post and play that way... has it started to become an outdated and exploitable strategy, which a person new to DYMs should now avoid using?
I ask in the role of devil's advocate, I still largely play super-tight whenever I do venture into the low stakes DYMs.
As a more general question, what sort of % win rate should be a rough target for a successful DYM player? The blog mentions 55% to be a break-even player, but to class yourself as 'good' or 'successful' should you be aiming for 60, 65, 70%... more?
