Heads-up Bounty Hunter Trial: Opinions please! (Tourney at 4pm, Thurs)

Hi folks,

We've put a new format MTT in the tourney lobby for you to trial and give your feedback on, if possible.

It's a £2.20 Heads-Up Bounty Hunter MTT. I think we've run these as a shuffle format in the past, but this is a regular MTT in the way tables will balance. £50 GTD on offer as it's a bit of fun, but if you think it has legs it could work its way into the schedule more permanently.

And here's the twist - only the top two will win any of the main prizepool. The rest of your earnings will come from knocking out players as you go along.

I'm not keen. I guess a standard HU Shootout structure is beyond the software at the moment or they'd already exist.

It was fun and I'm sure it will receive some attention. Realistically though, it's very, very similar to the shuffle format and not my cup o' tea.

Thanks for the feedback, Borin. One thing we'll definitely work on is the payout structure - I think top 2 is too aggressive in a field of 40 for the Main Prizepool.

Hi, Was wondering how the prizepool works in this.  I notice it was a £50gtd but the top 2 got £26+£14 = £40.  I'm guessing it's something to do with the fact it got £80 prizepool for the 40 x entries & it's a BH?

Once we tweak the payout structure a little we'll run another of these, and I'll make sure it's in an evening as well
