Decided to try a little pre flop floating move with 72
No Ace on the flop i was going to bet
Got one caller so thought id have another go on the turn which they called again
So decided to check fold the river as if they gone this far down think they'll fold my all in...

Pair of 3's!! surly i should be a little bit upset ive not got a fold here?

    You can't float pre flop,it's just a call. a bad one at that.

    Horrible call preflop.

    You can't float the flop when you bet and they call. Don't donkbet this flop at all 3way with this hand when it connects with their ranges pretty well. If you want folds, don't bet 1/2 pot.

    Turn bet is tiny and if they aint folding the flop, they are never scared of a 4h.

    River obv you're only chance of winning is to jam but probably won't work often enough at this level.

    We can't control what the opponent chooses to do, only set him up to make decisions that are bad (but he doesn't have to make them decisions). In a way, he's made the bad decision regardless of you losing cos bottom pair should never be good here. Moral of the story, next time you flop a pair against this guy, bet bet bet :)

    Im not really after a poker lesson cause everyone has different views i just think i was unlucky not to get a fold from A3!
    At the end of the day my call pre flop or my bets on the flop/turn ive been unlucky not to get a fold
