HU hyper turbo hand, turn weak showdown hand into bluff?

Not posted a hand for ages, because I haven't played many.

Any thoughts on this hand?

It's the first game against this guy, and still early, but there has been 1 hand of note so far.

Seat 1: copps18xxx (490 in chips)

Seat 2: rudolfíno (510 in chips)

rudolfíno: posts small blind 10

copps18xxx: posts big blind 20

*** HOLE CARDS ***

Dealt to copps18xxx [Qd 8c]

rudolfíno: raises 20 to 40

copps18xxx: calls 20

*** FLOP *** [Qh 4d Jd]

copps18xxx: checks

rudolfíno: bets 20

copps18xxx: raises 60 to 80

rudolfíno: calls 60

Pot = 240

*** TURN *** [Qh 4d Jd] [8d]

copps18xxx: bets 100

rudolfíno: calls 100

Pot = 440

*** RIVER *** [Qh 4d Jd 8d] [9h]

copps18xxx: bets 270 and is all-in

rudolfíno: folds

----------------------------------

This happened soon after...

Quite sure otr that I'm behind, but I think his range is really weak too, and I decide to turn my hand into a bluff and try to make him fold the 9x that beat me and some Tx.

Doubt he ever folds Kx, or even has it that often with the 3x weak leads.

Seat 1: copps18xxx (710 in chips)

Seat 2: rudolfíno (290 in chips)

copps18xxx: posts small blind 10

rudolfíno: posts big blind 20

*** HOLE CARDS ***

Dealt to copps18xxx [9c 8d]

copps18xxx: raises 20 to 40

rudolfíno: calls 20

*** FLOP *** [Kc 9s Th]

rudolfíno: bets 20

copps18xxx: calls 20

Pot = 120

*** TURN *** [Kc 9s Th] [2s]

rudolfíno: bets 20

copps18xxx: calls 20

Pot = 160

*** RIVER *** [Kc 9s Th 2s] [Ad]

rudolfíno: bets 20

copps18xxx: raises 500 to 520

Guy has 10xbb left after his river bet,

    Hi Dohhhhhhh

    Maybe it's the 'soon after' phrase that irks possibly. Was he a believer or has your original ai earlier queered the pitch, as it were. They are clever, tricky plays and he probably knows of you and may give you credit by thinking you are trying to double bluff( what is it level 4 thinking?) him with the nuts second time around. Ask yourself, is he keyed in enough to accept the double bluff or will a little bit of tilt maybe push him to call. You've bet on a good card twice now. Plus 10 bb's doesn't give him a lot of wiggle room but at least he'd be in ai mode.

    You might get him to fold 1/20 times then.

    Because I think I'm behind, and I think he might fold a better hand than I have.

    Hand 1 - standard imo.

    Hand 2 - He has you beat imo. I'm probably deciding on the flop whether I'm happy to get it in or not. Don't think you should be playing too much post flop poker against aa stack this size. Might sound mad but I'd rather fold this pre or just give up on the flop, no doubt it'll be 15/30 very soon, and you can play unexploitable poker by just having a good shoving/calling range (don't like open shoving into 300 stack @ 10/20). Depends if they're decent obv, but you should be getting 3bet jammed on pre ALOT imo (you would if it was me :p)

    are you joking ?

    what he called with IS EXCEPTIONALLY IMPORTANT for when you go back looking through the hand to judge your play afterwards.

    results orientated in terms of if y ou lost when all the chips went in but then you lose so you say you played it wrong. that's bad results orientated.

    if you see a hand at showdown then you can take alot of information away from what you see and go back and look at your previous assupmtions, for pre/flop/turn etc. and his river calling range etc.

    if he's not folding Tx then your jam is appalling on the river, he needed to be folding the Jx Tx or some of his Kings.
