In Response to Re: C4P DAILY TARGETS TO REACH 10K FOR PRIORITY CLUB ( DECEMBER ) : Cheers dev, just wanna say although I never said anything your dym diary earlier this year was awesome. To grind up over that period of time, retain discipline and focus is something I should learn from ! And on that £100 br been playing nl20/50, swinging between £70 and £250. Currently £156. The biggest pot I lost was 3 way at nl50 AA vs AQ vs Q4 for £150, naturally the Q4 binked it on the turn. Still it didnt bust me! The thing thats kept my head above water is winning £150 on £5 hu sngs, since dec 21. Gogogo priority. Posted by ACEGOONER
In Response to Re: C4P DAILY TARGETS TO REACH 10K FOR PRIORITY CLUB ( DECEMBER ) : Nice one Dev. Thoughts should now be on the 2000th post spectacular! Maybe your review of a "riches to riches" year? Posted by Jac35
ty m8 yes,it's getting close to 2000 posts, isn't it might do some review of the year, just to round it off i guess.it's been a pretty decent one i think. hold the front page!!! lol dev
c4p 9570 got 439 c4p today,which leaves 430 needed tomorrow. (* *) ^ dev Posted by devonfish5
Good luck for tomorrow mate, I'm sure you've got it in the bag now. Would have to be something pretty bad to stop you putting in the work to get to 10k after all the hardwork you've put in so far (touch wood).
Very impressive effort to reach Priority at such low stakes.

ty Paul, should get there tomorrow mate,if not very close anyway.
thought about trying for it for about 3 months, then this month i thought what the ****,let's do it. it's come at a price though. firstly,my left arm,my poker arm has been aching pretty much all month due to continuous playing, almost every day.funny though today it's as good as it's been all month, very strange. secondly and arguably even worse,i've had my worst months results so far this year. atm i'm £242 down this month, which is bad.if i can finish tomorrows sessions level, then with £280 c4p to come it's been pretty much a wasted and pointless months grind....or has it?
looking at the positives, i've played 18/20 tables pretty much each session.the most and longest to date. i've shown that it can be done.yes i've had a bad month money wise it's true. is it because of variance or is it simply to many tables to handle?probably a little of both i suspect. one months results is a small sample i guess, but it is many hours of play, about twice as many as i usually play,so is probably enough of a guide as to what might happen again next month.also i've moved up to the £5 level which is in itself another level/game, after initially playing just the £3's & £2 games, simply because of the extra c4p they give. i am still quite happy with how i've played all month tbh, even though the result would suggest otherwise, and also with my attitude, especially as i was hoping for a far better result obviously. is it possible to win month after month after month playing DYM's?or cash/tournaments for that matter? and is coming out level classed as a bad month? i don't know...maybe not. so,a number of factors there when added together have led to this months slump. i am always looking to push the boundaries, maybe i've pushed a little to hard this month? no regrets though,as without trying out new things, and failing sometimes, would we ever move forwards with our game and own ambitions? as to the negatives. just two,my aching arm and not winning as normal this month.
where do i go from here? that's the question, isn't it. do i go back and play 12/15 tables at the £3 level next month?with a few £5's thrown in? do i forget the £5's altogether? what about the £11's? do i give priority another go? meaning i'll have to play the £5's for the extra c4p needed?
plenty to think about over the next few days,me thinks. anyway,i'll live and stand by whatever i decide, for better or worse. at the end of the day... 'it's only a game of ...... poker, isn't it.'
Hey Dev, Sorry I haven't posted in a bit being busy with other things.Always knew you would reach this target like you always do.Good to see good guys do win some times.Run golden pal. PS Hope Pat Walsh goes bust : ) Posted by day4eire76

In Response to Re: C4P DAILY TARGETS TO REACH 10K FOR PRIORITY CLUB ( DECEMBER ) : wd mate in the bag now was going to have the rest off but thought i would play a little for fun see if i can get 12k mark 10.5k c4p Posted by ckd
ran as bad as a bad thing right from day 1 this month,so i was always up against it. also playing 18+ tables pretty much each session, which was another challenge for me. yes you could argue it's to many, but i have no regrets. i could have lost just as easily playing my normal 12/15 tables as it was just one of those months,i think.
what to do next month?that is my next dilemma. i could easily play it safe, drop number of tables back to 12/15 i guess, but where's the fun in that. i'll probably carry on as i've left off for the 1st week or so and see how it goes. thanks to everyone for all the support and encouragement, wasn't it nice to see us all 'as one' with our own journeys being shared together. and thanks to ckd for posting up this thread for us all. i know that he is intending posting up again next month...well done mate.
anyway, that's it for another year, well almost. hope you all have a safe and happy new years eve,and see you all next year no doubt. best wishes dev
