This is from the Mini last night & I'd be interested in Tikays view on playing small PP's? I had circa 20 BB's and was surprised I got 2 x callers! Ta Never had a hand on TV before so be gentle!
Hey guys good show thats my first hand on tv ever i did well i think , im not coming to luton tikay sorry our bus chat will have to wait... its a shame i know.... the girlfriend had already made plans for us on the 8th, i am planning on attending the one after which isi believe is in newcastle, is that right? so i'll hopefully meet you all then.
Just to let you know i didnt limp with 66, i was bb and saw no value in raising with one limper, on the flop and turn i know im good but seemed like a crying shove on the river and hoping he has something other then a 7
obviously in hindsight letting the 97 limp was not great but 66 isnt really a value hand where you should raise, we are playing to hit a set really so happy to keep cheap then get the value when it comes in.
i hate christmas it just reminds me of the time i was 9 years old and ate the xmas decorations .......and was rushed to hospital with TINSEL-ITIS !! ...... bad times
great show as usual anna and tikay. I wish everyone going to luton good luck especially poker trev the captain of the TITANS
Hi Anna & Tikay, I'm a "Bah Humbug" kinda guy as regards Xmas. IN fact, I was hoping Borinloner might post tonite as I'm guessing he might want some company? I could join him for Xmas, we could get a cheap meal for 2, and play some charades and watch Ukops? Pad Posted by Glenelg
That sounds great Glenelg. I'll PM you my address and will look forward to seeing you.
I start feeling chrstmassy when its time for the xmas night out with the lads, which is just a normal night out on the lash, except we call it a xmas night out but we dont stay local (newcastle). we try other places in the UK. we've had previous xmas nights out in liverpool, london, glasgow, wolverhampton & Leeds.
Also, my works night out is always a good laugh and gets me feeling christmassy. the banter is always good next time in the office because there's always someone who makes a bit of a fool of themselves on the night out ha ha.
one last thing that makes me feel christmassy is a week before christmas when the whole family comes up for christmas. HAPPY DAYS!
I did have a hand request but i missed that part of the show, no bother though, i'll bang it in the poker clinic part of the forum instead.
I got in late from work and missed the first half of tonights show but Looking forward to the rest of the show & sorry, for waffling on, i didnt expect this post to be so long, was hoping it would be A LOT shorter... oops!

Only joshing Borin! I know U & Anna have an ongoing laugh with regards your name!
I start to feel its Christmas when I see the easter eggs in the shops. Only 20 more sleeps until Luton for people with narcolepsy. If the Duchess of Cambridge has triplets that would be a set of royals. If she has one then twins later that would that be a trips of royals?
In the football match it was the first time that goal line technology was used in a FIFA sanctioned match. We know Tikay and Anna are not a couple, Tikay only has eyes for Davina Macall
@Tikay - Re. Tingle Creek. TRue story - A guy won SOOO much money off this race he bought a Hotel near Plockton and called it "Tingle Creek"! Check it out - it's near Kyle of Lochalsh.

So does that mean you're not coming?
Yes, Anna likes to pretend I'm not boring. We all know better though, don't we?
Incredibly, I had coffee in that very hotel in Plockton on Xmas day last year. I had rented a cottage in Glenelg, & wanted to go see Plockton, which is famous - sort of - for having palm trees of all things.
The rain was pouring down, the wind was howling, & waves were whipping across the Loch, & I spent an hour just walking along the beach.
Wonderful memory.
I must say, I thought it odd that the Hotel was named "Tingle Creek", & never made the connection. Tingle Creek was a quite wonderful hurdler originally, trained by Bob Turnell & ridden by son Andy. More wonderful memories.

I recall someone else being hilariously mistaken for Anna's other half... it was by someone of Tikay's age though, so maybe it doesn't count.
tikay, things being she or he...
is a rabbit a he or a she?
