This is in the tournament lobby for tonight..

It's one of the new tournaments, that we the forum suggested (well i did) and voted for.

So lets all get behind it and see if we can see get it upto a prizepool of £500.

If we get the usual players in the DTD playing this, we'll easily beat that figure, you never know if we get a decent turnout might even hit the 1k figure.

If we smash the guarantee, hopefully sky will make it higher next week.

The prizepool has been beaten of every Friday (as far as i'm aware)

If I'm available to play then I'll add it in.  Really important that these kind of tournies that the forum wanted are supported well so that they stay on the schedules.

seriously though; 10k chips 12 min blinds, any thought gone into the tournament finishing time or the blind levels that are included?

I am guessing it might be a late finish, i don't think sky reckon it will get the same volume as the normal deepstacks which reg get 150 players, hence the £400 gaurantee, so less players.

Plus as it's SPT weekend numbers might be down..

But it's all trial and error to start with i guess...

ya I totally get the last line, just giving some instant feedback.

it's important to note that the shorter the number of runners in general the slower the tournament plays out 'relatively'.

in 5k runner comps you get alot more gamble early etc, whereas in a 30 runner super deepstack comp it becomes very slow and monotonous.

sorry if this has been asked but will this mtt be on every night I can`t play on fridays due to playing live every week.

but it looks like it will be a good addition to the mtt schedule imo and will play it if available thro the week.

also spt side event tomorrow I like it.

    Wow what a horrible tournament!
    10K starting stack with a 12min clock in a £5.50 £400 GTD w/o antes = bad idea!

Fair play to sky I suppose for listening to customers but I really can't see this lasting too long.

hi Liam it was part of the your tourney your suggestion thread where a different tourney was added to the schedule each night this one was chosen for the Friday, as it may be a late finish so only really 2 options Fri or Sat.

As it is new everything will be looked at and any tweaks needed made hope this helps :)

    Hi all,

Thanks to the community for participating in this mtt.

As i wrote in my original entry i was hoping we'd break the guarantee, we did that by £300, amazing to say that some of the players that would normally play are in Luton..

This Tourney & format was specifically requested by the players. Some people love it, some not so much.

Interestingly, it crushed it's Guarantee last week as I recall.

I hope it goes well again tonight.
