is this a definate bet or is there good reason to check behind?

    I guess you can make a case for either play, but when its checked to you I think I'd take the bet option as well... although would fold pretty quickly if I got check raised.

    Would seem to be reasonable to think you are ahead at this stage but it seems perfectly possible that either could have the K or Q spades, possibly in some sort of off-suit combo of KQ/KJ/QJ, or a pocket pair, giving them many outs (possibly in both hands) - therefore it would seem right to charge them to see the river card which could end up crushing you.

    All IMO only... good play though!

    yah I prefer betting ott to checking and then potentially being a tricky spot on the river. By betting on the turn you can more than likely check back on the river and get to showdown
