    Snap fold pre, why are you calling a 8x raise pre with a junk hand.

    One major problem with this hand is when you get a flop like that you have no real idea where you are at all and end up folding the best hand or doing what you did and go bust.

    Well raising 8 times the big blind is pretty massive, so if you choose to play, it's forcing you to play a very big pot with a hand that aint that great. What it resulted in is you getting 70xBB all in with top pair and not even a great kicker.

    Depends if you know the opponent I guess but normally if I don't know the person and they raise 8x, I'm gonna have a VERY tight range for what I choose to play with, probably like AKs and JJ+ and that may even be on the loose side, it depends how deep we are, and providing we're not too deep, I'd probably just re-jam on him pre and take the chance to just pick up 10xBB for free.

    KT is a hand I will play in some situations but against a raise of 8 times the big blind, it shrivels up to junk.

    ok just looked up something called the chen strategy and i think it explains what you mean i would never have thought that KT of any kind was a bad hand but it just told me that according to the strategy that i should have folded it no matter where i was playing from which surprised me considerably i think i will spend some time studying this information but thankyou for the info
