Best Present - an original hand drawn portrait from my two year old niece including purple hair and red eyes Worst Present - An envelope from my best mate, on which was written "Guaranteed to improve your poker" inside was a second envelope with the words I've seen how bad you play with your eyes open" Inside was a pair of sun reader goggles and a blind fold!
The truth hurts! they probably will improve my game!
Good luck to all the regulars in the Main Event!!!!
Best was a Led Zeppelin DVD, just called Led Zeppelin over 5 hours of remastered concert footage, my son bought me. Worse was when me and my brother got matchimg KNITTED jackets when I was about 13. They were horrendous like a tweed pattern. Good luck with the show love the UKOPS series but only in the mini.
Best present was a cheque with a 5-figure sum from my Nan ( which pays for my wedding ) Worst present was a stocking from the other halfs mum which contained the 2012 Shoot Annual, a colouring book, colouring pencils, a keyring ice scraper & a 3 year old toy car.
hi, ive just won a seat into the main event tonight for £6 first time ive played a buy in this big. the other one been a £50 buy in at dtd. ive only just started taking poker online seriously.
Took your advice and went for the all-in and won a seat for £3 - unbelieveable jeff!!! Never play in these tournements as they are well out of my bankroll but hopefully even 1 head pays for my poker for the month!!!
Regarding the hand just shown with the straight flush, I think if you know you're against a good player, you have to fold because you know the other player is only shoving with the A diamonds or a straight flush, so if you have the Ad yourself, you have to put the opponent on a straight flush.
Worst (or strange) Xmas pressie? Well, I mended an old neighbour's fence just before Xmas last year and she bought me a pressie. It was a Chinese Juggling Ball! Yes! ball, singular. Having mastered one I've dropped hints to her that I'm ready to move up to TWO! BTW my wife thinks the old dear thought it was a "chocolate orange" - (whatever that is!! ) lol
Managed to take a head for £37.50 so massive return already. Was a bit nervolus and hadnt played a hand but now gonna just go for it - whats the worst that could happen!!
Best Xmas pressie... after a few hints and links emailed to book selling websites, my daughter took the hint and bought me the poker book that I have wanted for a long time.
Read a chapter on Xmas day ... then {admittedly after a few sherries} entered a few tornies ...
Won 2 and came 8th in the third ... best winnings for a while
Told daughter this must be one big coincidence but thanks for the book
Best present I got this year was a live tournament entry worth about 300 for a tournament in London today...which I crashed out of an hour ago :S Was worth the entry fee to listen to carlo citrone sat two to my right cursing the online poker gods.
Hi again guys....one of my friends is playing UKOPS main tonight. He isn't the best tournament player but does try hard. It would mean a lot if you could show one of his hands. He plays as TommyD on the site

Loving the show as ever
Hope you had a great Christmas.
Thanks for showing the hand! Good to see Rich guessing the hand incorrectly...if only I had been playing him!
Matt
Thanks
