Record-breaking UKOPS night!

UKOPS 1 took place last night, & what a night it was.

Year-on-year comparisions with last year's Xmas UKOPS are not straightforward, as the Events are different this year, but the numbers last night were spectacular.


The £1,000 Guaranteed UKOPS 1 Micro (£2.20) had 550 buy-ins, & generated a £1,100 Prize Pool.

The £4,000 Guaranteed UKOPS1 Mini (£5.50) made an astonishing £4,460. I'm not 100% certain, but with 892 paid buy-ins, this may have been a record for Sky Poker.

The £55 buy-in UKOPS1 Sidey with a £7,500 Guarantee made £8,350.

The £30,000 Guaranteed UKOPS1 Main had 327 runners & generated a £32,700 Prize Pool, which, I think, is around double the equivelant event last year.

Congratulation to all those who cashed, & a big "thank you" from all at Sky Poker for your support.

Xmas UKOPS continues this evening, & the Show will be on "Live", too, to follow the action, woth Orf & The Rutt. 

It'll be Satellite City again all day today.

    gutted i'm going to miss out on the rest but enjoyed last night
    interesting that the top 3 in the main only won the same as the top 3 last year even with double the pot!

    December UKOPS Bounty Hunter Prizepools;

    December 2011 £24,400 (event 3, 30 paid)

    December 2012 £32,700 (event 1, 34 paid)

    Both were £100 + £10 fee. So the prizepool increased by £8,300 or 34%.

    fair enough - when Tikay said the equivalent event I was thinking in terms of temporal ordering.....

    after all the first event of the series is something special, no?
