    bet more on the flop, a lot more on the turn and TONS more on the river and you might have got more than 280

    If he calls 50 on the flop, he'll call 60-70 too. If he calls the pot is now 250 instead

    If he calls 80 on the turn with his junk hand, he'll probably call 120 too. Pot is now 490

    If he calls 100 on the river, he'll probably call 200 (now) too. You win a pot of 890, compared to 570 and that's only tiny increases.

    Bet sizing is something I really need to work on and it makes a massive difference. You have to be winning the maximum with your winning hands.

    One bigger bet on the flop, means your turn bet HAS to be bigger cos the pot is bigger so a larger bet will still seem smaller in comparison to the size of the pot.

    yeah i usually bet size well, but i know he was wanting to call it down with junk so i was trying to make myself look weak in order for him to consider an OTT raise which didnt happen
