30nl, 3b pot line cheque?

Haven't played villain @ cash before but have MTT notes that he can be crazy/unpredictable and bad agro.

The mtt note I had said he limped, some1 raised, I cold 3b and he peeled, then donk overbet jammed something like 24k into 8k with a flushdraw on 66x. He had something like J9s.

In this cash session we've tangled abit, seems quite loose but nothing outragious so far, not much gone to showdown.

He will see me as v aggressive and 3betting alot, cbetting most of the time, barrelling quite often etc.

Thoughts on flop, but think that's standard, so turn and then mainly river?

that q is a horrible hand to shove on mate, realistic value hands he may raise the flop with might be AK, 77, A7, AJ + bluffs and maybe aq, we are beating only A7 on the river, so why are you shoving a bluff catcher?

    check river imo

Because our opponent will hardly ever check the river with a better hand. So we can shove and hope to get looked up by Ax or KQ or something. If opponent is bad he will find it really hard to fold after putting that much money in.

dont agree, so you get called by kq or ax or something? ... its kq or A7 only (a7 seems unlikely), there is no other hand he could call that we beat, by shoving river you will see AQ, 77 and AK, a tilty A7 and i doubt a q will call.

There are exceptions to be made vs bad players, but shove it too thin albeit a 3-bet pot, a c/r flop...

with your reads i would think oppo would shove into you on river

but also the check on river would suggest your ahead and I very much doubt oppo is good enough to check river with a hand that has you beat

    flop is close.

    turn is relatively easy call.

river is close but i'd jam and hope he calls off his widevalue range on the flop and expect him to c/f all his airy gutters that missed. if he checks KT or 77 or w/e on the river that'd be a note with exclamation marks on the end.

    HI D

Not really a cash player so don't feel clued up to say one way or the other. Can i ask though from your mtt note you talk about the big bet with the flush draw. Are you comparing that to his bet on the turn with the flush draw being available? Can i ask you what you narrowed him down to? What would you expect him to start off raising in co? Sorry if i'm restating stuff from above posts but  prefer to write mine before reading others.

To have a stab though.....Q on flop makes extra losing hands from AQ and KT which ae both possible as an opening raise from CO. With the pot at +£40 and just £18 behind, i'm not sure what this will gain as missed draws will fold anyway although on second thoughts KQ might call so yes, bet out the rest of your cash. Wouldn't be surprised if this is all flawed though...

His cut off opening range is gonna be wide, urmmm dunno really, A7s+/ATo+ all pairs, all suited broadways and most off suit ones.

I don't expect him to fold to my 3b very often.

Post flop, didn't really think about what he had. Just had tp/tk and I dnt like folding :)

Thanx for replies, still happy with the shove :)

    He folded.
