no reads on villain
I'd been a little bit aggro with a decent stack
do i take his lead on the river as a stopper bet and shove - looking to win his stack & his head, or a value bet and call?
clearly i'm not folding

Yea you gotta get it in geldy dont care if he turns over a house or bigger flush getting it in is the most profitable way every time here.

Geldy.  A flush is a pretty big hand.  Those pot odds on the end are pretty small in comparrsion.

    Get

    It

    In

Nothing to think about here unless your reads are 'only bets with nuts.'

    If you're beat, s'happens.

I shoved & of course he had the nuts on this occasion - A2c

I'm pleased though as whereas a year ago I would have maybe only called (or even folded!), now not only did it seem natural to shove, I had no regrets when he turned over the nuts. It was only later when I was thinking back over the key hands did I decide not to arrogantly assume it was the right play but to check it out with you lot.

    thanks guys
