I have had a few "15 minutes of fame." My first was on the tv show, The Krypton Factor. I won two shows and reached the Grand Final. I was featured on the front page of my local newspaper and for several months I was viewed like a celebrity. Because I was on three shows over a three month period, it was more than 15 minutes & I had to do a live interview on local radio on Boxing Day just before the Grand Final was shown on TV. My biggest 15 minutes of fame (at least for me financially) was winning £50,000 on the TV show, The Chair with John McEnroe. No-one seems to remember it now (it was in 2002) but it was a bit like Millionaire except that you lost your money if you heart rate went up. Certainly it paid for a new car (£10k), set of windows (£15k) and my wife's shoe collection (£25k). I have been on several other Tv shows including Winner Takes All, 15 to 1, The Other Half & Pointless but maybe if I was on SKY Poker (hint hint) that would top the lot. Maybe I need to win the Jackpot to get on the show!

    we have a winner.......

Like Geldy I can't compete with this. However, I was in the audience of the old chatshow Tricia back in the day. I managed to get on the telly by sticking my hand up and asking the people who were on the show a question....but this does not even come close to competing with a Krypton Factor grand finalist!

Have a great tonight guys :)

This sounds like something a Bond villain might say. Have you been plotting some sort of nefarious scheme, Wilhelm? :P

I have a few 15 minutes of fame type things.

The first would be from about 8 years ago now. I was interviewed live on BBC News Look North about Paul Gascoigne signing for Boston United!
I was also in the audience and shown on screen for a filming of the Friday Night Project on Channel 4, about 4/5 years ago, when David Hasselhoff guest presented the show.
I featured on Page 3 of my local newspaper only two weeks ago, here is the online version of the article.. http://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/news/latest-news/food-appeal-success-just-massive-1-4619219 I am the tall guy at the back of the photo!

    Good eveng gentlemen,

    My 15 minutesof fame

I was the youngest solo female to reach the north pole pole by dog sled,I battled blizzards tempretures of -40
suffered frostbite in my toes lost most of my supplies when I crashed through the ice, lived on dog biscuits and the raw meat meant for the dogs, just as I was insight of my goal________________________________

My biggest 15 minutes of fame was being the mascot for Sheffield Wednesday in 1998 when we happened to be playing Manchester United. This was a few weeks after Paul Di Canio famously pushed the referee when I met Roy Keane, David Beckham and all before we emphatically stuffed them in a fantastic 3-1 victory.

    Hi guys,

If you're showing mastercash hands later could you show this? I planned to check/raise the flop but when the other guy raises, I thought it would look too strong and didn't want to make both players fold, figured flattign could possibly keep Gooner in too.

    Turn standard, right?

Hand request from the 9pm Bounty Hunter, card blockers please.  Boring hand until the river, no history with the villain, this is about half an hour in.

Questions for Ryan.  Can I raise the huge bet for value?  Should I entertain the possibility that I am behind and just flat?  Do you like my shove regardless of the result?  Please could you do your hand guessing after his bet on the river, many thanks.

    Hand number 609496951
