Macau Info pls?

Might be able to spend a weekend there with my wife.

Any advice on where to stay / where to play (poker for me and shopping/shows etc for the better half).

mtts & cash $1/2 - 2/5

    Id love to go there 1 day myself Geldy anytime ive searched the internet about it information seems to be limited with regards to what poker games they play.

    thanks all - particularly rancid with that link - sounds a bit depressing tbh unless you are willing to play cash at higher stakes, which I am trying to avoid doing at the moment.

    so far so good - other than for the poker. found one poxy ringed off poker area with a waiting list and smoking. lots of limping as far as i can see, but a cocktail at the hard rock cafe seems way more appealing at the moment.

    Having looked into this i would definately love to go to Macau within the next 2 years looks an amazing place and if things go well in Vegas for me this summer then it could be on the cards very soon! Vegas, LA, Macau where to next lol!

    I stayed at the Mandarin Hotel.
    Booked it through Trail finders.
    second most luxurious hotel I've ever been to.
    Mind, a word of advice, all the casinos had a metal detector before you enter, It was only when I'd stripped down to my boxers I remembered I was wearing steel toe capped brogues! lol
    All the waitresses took names from English novels. Its hard to keep a straight face when the girl who serves you has F anny by gaslight as her favourite novel! True story!

    Nah thats not a brag, I work with someone who has won $25,000 in the last month on mtts and has a ridiculously well paid job as a lawyer in the city. Now that is a brag !

    Hopefully he will teach me the secrets to his sucess.

    no smoking
    standard game NL800
    i played the one table of NL400
    45 mins of play
    spun £300 into £850
    gave it to my wife
    everyone happy :-)
