Hi Guys
I'm sure most of you had noticed that, every now and again, someone pops up on the forum singing the praises of this format of Poker. I myself love the game. Tikay is a great advocate of the game and managed a very deep run in a WSOP braclet event last year, making everyone at Sky Poker very proud.
Ive been thinking of ways that we can promote the game on here to get more players, so here we go.....
February Omaha Challenge
First things first, it doesn't matter if you are a high, medium or low stakes player, you will have a chance of taking this down.
So its an even playing field no matter what your bank roll is
The format of the Challenge is this
1. It will run from now till the end of February. All scores start from the time you post your entry on this thread
2. The objective is simple: Cash in the most consecutive DYM Omaha games as possible at any buy in level
3. Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Omaha, Pot lImit Omaha hi/Lo all count to the challenge
4. All games you play count to the challenge ( you can't be doing the challenge of £5 level and then move to £11 level thinking that one doesn't count It does ) You can play Hold'em DYMs in between without it effecting your run
5. If you bust after say 5 games, you can go back and try again, your highest score is the one that counts no matter how many goes at this you have
6. You must post on this thread if you want to take part
7. All runs have to be verified by sky
What happens at the end.... Exciting bit
The top 6 players with the highest consecutive wins will be entered into a PLO SNG Free roll with the following prizes
6th place £10
5th Place £10
4th Place £10
3rd place £20
2nd place £30 plus entry to £22 BH event
1st Pace £50 plus entry to Primo
A big thank you to Sky Dave for giving the Prizes. Cheers Dave
Any ways I hope you like this idea. For those of you who are not aware of it, the WORLD RECORD of consecutive DYM wins is, or was, held by a Sky Poker player. He played low stakes Omaha DYMs and won over 50 games in a row. His name escapes me at the moment but I'm sure the forum will come to my rescue with this information
Anyway I hope you will get behind this and we can get some support going for this truely great format of Poker.
Best Of Luck Guys and Girls

Great idea
Just for clarification , when u say "win" do you mean cash , as its a DYM?
Cheers
Mick
Great idea, please include me in this.
All the best every1 c u at the tables.
Have started playing a lot on the micro cash tables and get my head around those, albeit am still very limited in my play, but am completely clueless when it comes to tournament Omaha.
Was planning on giving the game more of a crack anyway after the Cash Champ thing has ended - are there any strategy articles or books that any posters can recommend for a novice? I can't rely on waiting for AAKK double-suited and hope it flops the nuts in every hand, need to learn a few genuine moves
Please put me in thxs gl everyone
Great idea, count me in please.
What we are interested in is consecutive cashes.
