In Response to Re: Coming Soon on Sky Sports TV... : +1 Looks a good line up on and off the table! Can you give away what the limits are? Posted by DOHHHHHHH
The Blinds were £5 £5.
Minimum pull-up per time was £1,000, maximum pull-up per time was £3,000.
Players were able to pull up different amounts, within the above, to suit themselves.
Some sat with £1k, others with £2k, & others with £3k.
Looking forward to watching this. The banter will be great and how all poker should be played....online and live!
Was it all their 'own' money they brought to the tables or were some playing with appearance money? If this can not be answered, no problem, just wondering how it all worked.

Not a problem Alan, they all played with their own money.
In Response to Re: Coming Soon on Sky Sports TV... : Correct, it is not in HD, but I don't think that will detract - or otherwise - from your enjoyment of the Series. The whole tone & mood is "poker with a smile", with loads of banter & laughs. No hoodies here..... Posted by Tikay10
No problem Tikay, I was not being critical just answering the HD question for an earlier poster. I shall watch and have already put the show in my planner on series link!
Not got Sky Sports either so will also have to wait. We will all have to hope that the forum mods are on top of things because it would spoil the fun for those who have to wait (or can't watch it on sky for other reasons). Would not like to see comments like Jimmy White take a massive lead with a pot of 147k. it would be like watching M.O.T.D when you know all the days results.

Gutted, it's not getting shown on 861 first seen as I don't have Sky Sports. Hopefully you don't make the rest of us wait too long. Posted by Lambert180

In Response to Re: Coming Soon on Sky Sports TV... : No, it is a Live (well, recorded....) Cash Game, targeted at a wider Sports audience on Sky Sports, so screen-names are not shown, or relevant. ALL the players who took part, however, do have current Sky Poker Accounts. Posted by Tikay10
Is this not the same as having a Sky bet account which I would imagine most of the sports stars would have anyway? (which obv could be used to play poker too)
....would love to know Jimmy White's alias to see how fast he plays the tables.

No spoilers please!
Great job with the cast of characters - really good mix, imo.
