had a boredom bet this afternoon on Valoroso in the 2.10 at Wincanton.
There was only 4 in the race with the top 2 around evens and 6/5. Next was Valoroso who went out to 20/1. For some crazy reason thought I would put a couple of quid on it for a laugh as whenever I normally see a race with 2 horses so far out in front of the betting an outsider nicks it.
So my horse was running 3rd pretty much all the way round and then one of the leaders falls at 3rd last so it moves into second. It then jumps in to first place at the 2nd last and romps around 10-15 lengths clear. I am thinking happy days (£40 coming my way) and then it falls at the **** last!!!! With the 3rd horse in the betting overtaking the favorite to win it! Unreal but you have to laugh :-)
