What the flopwit flap?

There has been flappin loads of software updates--- nearly every tournament has been changed--- so what is the flopwit logic behind having 0.375 of a chip? Has anyone ever seen a chip broken into 1000 pieces and divided amongst 5.3573519 people?---eh?----- I mean call me a flopwit flaphead if I am wrong---- but I will eat the hat I just made from the side fillet of a brown trout if there is a good reason for it. innit!!
