the min raise pre is awful imo, u are pricing ppl into calling.  the 2 4 hand is getting like 8/1 to call pre flop. granted he make a loose call with bottom pair on the flop but again u r giving him like 5/1 odds to call.  look at bet sizing imo

lollololol raise size pre is fine min raising is standard im more than happy for people to peel in the bb with worse or better hands than me as with position most of the time im going to take the pot down anyway.  People say you raise more to isolate the 1st limper maybe by a bit another 40 chips would have been good but i think lollolos raise size pre is fine.

As for the hand it self when people over bet they are generally polarised to air or having it most of the time hes going to have at least 2 pair when they do it in my experience so i would fold the turn.

    Fold pre.

You have the right idea of isolating the limper from the c/off but your not deep enough to play optimally post flop with a weak hand if he calls your raise imo.

With just under 20bb you need to be looking for spots where you can get all if not most of your money in pre like 3bet jamming over a button raise for example.

LOL - getting odds now on your hands - the site is a straight as a corkscrew. no odds apply when its fixed.

15 BB in your stack. 89 off. min raise to an UTG limper. Not even gonna bother. GL

Just forget about all the advice you have been given,

Use the `hot-o-meter` next time you play, invalueable tool imo !!!!!!!!!!!

+1 Use the 'hot-o-meter' : this is the secret to success.

Seriously tho, this used to happen a lot to me too. I'd min. raise mid unsuited connectors shallow, flop 2nd pair no kicker, stack off to a reraise on the turn and find I was behind - freaky.

240 to win 1120 in close enough to 5/1.  People are trying to help you here and all you can do is abuse them.  Do you actually want to learn anything or do you just like winding people up?

Lol is sort of right you are betting 240 to win 880 which is closer to 7/2  than 4/1.

    fyp, but +1

His odds are based on the pot size before he calls (the point where he is making his decision/play)
