with me hitting my set i'm wanting to get the pot built so when he did a bet i went for the raise thinking he had over pair and would call most times but unfortunately he folded making me wonder i the size i did was likely to scare most callers who don't have a set themselves?

min raise flop he already bet 3/4 of it either that or call since your in position and raise the turn

If you min raise here he will smell a rat, flat call or a big raise which looks bluffy.... a flush draw will call you. If you flat call he will likely bet turn then raise !
