1st hand fold pre your oop with a rag ace

2nd hand  never open limp into a pot with any hand limping pre is awful.

On the turn never open jam the turn losing way too much value.

Why do you like your turn jam in the second hand, given his stack? He has nearly four times the pot back. Explain your reasons, otherwise how are we supposed to discuss them. Don't limp pre-flop.

On the first hand, yes you should fold pre-flop. I quite like your line after that but again, you don't explain the motives for any of your actions. Take us through it.

I cant mind what is in the pot, my next bet is gonna commit most of his stack if he calls, so i'm just jamming so im not getting outdrawn on the river to say a flush. If he has top pair here, i reckon hes going with it.

My turn bet is committin him so thought im as well just settin him in.

Hand three, I think should be a fold. Isolating the limper is all well and good but the two blinds both have short stacks and are liable to 3-bet over your raise.

In the fourth hand, yes I prefer the raise pre-flop. The flop lead is fine in an unraised pot. You're likely to get action from Kx, Qx, Jx and maybe weaker given that it's been limped.

Assuming you're talking about the QJ hand, a normal turn bet doesn't commit him. He has 1550 and the pot is 400. A bet of 300-400 is not the same as an all-in for him and he can call that with draws, top-pair, etc. He can't call all-in with just a draw and a top-pair is a pretty easy lay-down too.

Make it 300-400 and set him in on the river. Don't give him easy decisions.

Never open limp with any hand it doesnt matter if you have aces or 34 suited always come in for a raise everytime limping is a losing play.

Cheers, i see your point normally id continue there increasing the size of my bet to say 700-800 after 400 on flop. Never really thought about betting the same, make sense, missed out on value.

Im also thinking if, he calls 500 and a flush card comes, theres no way im ever folding there.

But the odds are against this, and like you said i should have got more vale

Yeah, raise the button with 77... or you can limp, give the Big Blind a free flop and let three overcards come before you do your betting.

    Which sounds better to you?

Start a new thread for each of your hands in future, btw. It's much easier to have a discussion when everyone is talking about the same thing.

You didn't bet 400 on the flop. You bet 120.

The pot on the turn is 400 and you jammed for 1550.
