3 hands below, any advice on where they all went wrong.

1st, suspicious of utg just calling, so only called the raise from B/S to see utg reaction.
(was probably going all-in pre anyway)

First and third one look like coolers to me.

Second one - I'd prefer betting the flop at least 1/2 pot to build a pot whilst you have decent equity even if you are behind to something like 3-4/A4 or any hand that wouldn't bet flop with confidence. Turn something similar, which should leave decent all in river bet.

I can't see how you can fold the river, but your lack of a bet on the flop probably brought it on yourself unfortunately.

Hand 1 nothing you can do plays itself.

Hand 2 bet more on the turn, and you are prob going to lose your opponent with gutshot.

Hand 3, You got it in with the nuts, and are jut unluky your oppnent hits his 1 out.

Thats what makes poker poker, the good with the bad,

First hand fine.  I'm probabley raising with them but as long as you have a reason not to then its fine.

Second hand same.  I wouldn't play those cards at NL4 but if you do play them thats the right was IMHO.  Flop fine to check, Bet more on the turn.  If they have a hand to call they will and if they don't they will fold to any bet.  Not putting it down on the river.

Third hand, make it about 30p when you raise.  Apart from that nothing to worry about.  When they min 3bet you then you know they will call an all in 95% of the time.  Unlucky on the river

Hand 1 3 bet pre with kings your looking for action not a good idea just smooth calling a raise with kk as people are going to give you action get the money in!

Hand 2  isolate that limp pre raise it up and bet the flop and bet alot bigger than you did on the turn.

Hand 3 ul although id probly advocate raising more pre as people at this level are going to call anyway and we want to go for value at this level

That one outer in the last hand was pretty brutal, still even a one outer gets there sometimes

Thanks for the advice guys, probably need to work more on my bet sizing in cash games.

1st hand, was wary the utg limp was to induce the BS to RR, as he'd done to any limps,
(normally i'd RR to about 40p but thought i'd get more action from utg, sigh!)
expected an utg RR but not a shove, I was shoving any RR anyway so it was going in.

2nd hand, agree, should have bet 1/2pot on that flop with the outs, then pot the turn.
(better to win a smaller pot than lose a large one)

3rd hand, bet bigger pre with premium PP, still 1/2pot flop as it hits small pp or s/c and f/d,
if oppo RR any amount then a shove will get called most times.

3 worst hands in only 40mins on same table, so decided to leave before I started chasing.

    Hand 1
Why does UTG Limp make you suspicious?
100% 3 Bet with KK in this spot as were losing to much value with the flat call. When UTG limp jams it usally means Aces but I still call and make a note.

    Hand 2
Prefer raise if were playing the hand but at 4NL Over limp is ok.
Why do we check flop?? We have flopped massive here and must surley be looking to build a pot?
Turn bet to small compounded by not betting flop
River have to call but actions on previous streets have led to our own downfall here I think.

    Hand 3

    Cooler

hand 1 you should always raise and reraise 4x with pairs QQ-AA and AKs preflop. you were just unlucky he had AA

hand 2 this was where your mistakes were big. i would probably fold suited connectors 87s and less most times unless i'm on the button, BB, SB if their is no raising done or the cut off if i'm fish to call. as for the post flop on you should have did a 12p bet on the flop as that would make 98o fold most days then on the turn you hit the nuts so the last thing you want is for a gut shot to stay so a bet of 50p atleast should then be made. leaving betting until the river is 99% of the time the worst thing to do as your giving free cards to the villians the only time i would slow play is if i have a nut flush on the flop or quads as they are almost certain to with most times.

hand 3 well this is a 4p table so most pairs will get called so again you were just unlucky with him hitting his set.
