Final table advice

First time poster here so bear with me
Poker very much a bit of weekend fun for me Been playing couple of years and mainly the £2.30 bounty hunter
Have occasionally min cashed but last night actually came second
Like to think I played pretty well but main thing bothering me is that going into final table I was chip leader by quite some way but only managed to come second
Looking for bit of general advice as to how to best approach final table play
I play pretty tight mainly and not over aggressive
Tried to win chips where I could on final table but on whole got bullied off a lot of hands by guy who ended up winning
Had look at hand history tonight and got lot of hands that were junk and couldn't really see where to go with them
Should you be playing any hand with picture card at that stage?
Also had occasional bit of luck at times but took a bit of stick off couplke of people who I knocked out - just no need
One I beat with same hand that she had doubled herself up against me only to get barrage of abuse for it - if you've got nothing good to say then say nothing

I'm afraid general questions like this are nearly impossible to give a decent answer to. "It depends" is the best you'll get. It depends on your opponents' play, your stack size, your opponents' stack sizes, your position, your image and a few other things that don't spring to mind at this moment.
Post up some specific situations where you felt you could have done better. Not necessarily your exit hand or big winning/losing pots. Just hands which you were unsure of, even if they seemed to have only a minor impact.
To paste a hand, go to to the hand history section at the top of this screen, under the "My Sky Poker" tab. Find a hand you want to post and highlight from the "P" of "Player" in the top left and drag down to the final point you want to post. Do NOT highlight the buttons at the bottom or the hand history ID number at the top.
Make sure you use the internet browser hand history and not the download client. The DC can cause problems.
Copy and paste that into a new thread. Try to include your reads on the other players, your own image. Usually it's best to delete the opponent's name and the result of the hand.
