with me still learning about tournaments i do make a lot of mistakes. during the late stages i do ok thanks to me having such good aggression but the early stages are my main weakness leading to lowish stack in the mid stages

Why are we shoving the flop? Give us your reasons for doing that...

I think it's bad for whatever reason you did it, but you need to explain your thoughts so we can challenge your reasoning and help you avoid that same mistake in future. What, in your opinion, made this shove better than a bet of 2/3 of the pot?

TBH mate really bad play :/ i assume u see a really wet scary board and just shove.

Against any decnt players your only getting called by better, got lucky here IMHO.

On the bright side you got max value :) Results orientated FTW

Shoving flop is crazy and your going to lose so much value in the long run bet around 489 on the flop

As above really unless you have reasons for doing this (previous history with oppo which may have lead you to make this play) then just make a standard 1/2-3/4 bet.

Don't listen to bearly his bet sizing would be way off. Betting 489.50 would be better ;)

I disagree 489.89 is much better adds more bluffs to our preceived range from the villans perspective! lol

I hate this shove. Well done in getting a call from 10 high. However realistically the only hand that calls a shove that we beat is AJ even then im not convinced.

Bet normal and build a pot. Fwiw i agree early stages are harder to play, because we're deeper, given you appear to have a non-mtt background the early stages should suit you.

Shove isn't awful on this board imo.

Not the best option but better than checking or betting too small.

Gonna get called by worse loads in micro sky mtts even when we overbet jam like this on a board that hits their range.

Closer to a pot sized bet will be better in future though Craig.
