Unfortunately we lose MK. The damage was done when hit hit top pair against NHIGHGUN's straight.

Many congrats to CHRISDONKB. who is our Last Longer champ!

It is now bubble time, so hopefully our man will cash.

Chris, can you post on here when you are finished with a link to your chosen charity.

    Many thanks.

Thanks to anyone who railed, the spin up was real, think I was 28/28 at one point. The charity I have selected is Dementia UK https://www.dementiauk.org

Couple of hands that I wish I could change and unfortunately I think tiredness began to set in after a 13 hour day but overall can’t complain. Thanks for the donations and a great idea.

Congrats on a great 4th place finish Chris. I have made my donation. Copy/Paste of email below:

Thank you for your gift of £27.00 on Dec 31, 2018 2:47 PM.

    Dear Graham,

From the family carer who desperately needs advice on a Sunday evening when little other help is available, to the daughter struggling to make sense of recent changes in mum's behaviour, your recent gift of £27.00 means so very much to people facing dementia.

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through our Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving the one-to-one support, guidance and practical solutions they need.

Today we have over 250 Admiral Nurses providing a lifeline for families living with dementia. In 2017/18 we helped over 50,000 families through our Admiral Nurses and via our Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline. Your donation will mean that we can be there for even more families affected by dementia.

Once again, on behalf of Dementia UK, Admiral Nurses and the carers we support, thank you for helping us be there for families facing dementia.

    Yours sincerely

    Hilda Hayo
Chief Admiral Nurse and Chief Executive

    Hi Madprof.

I went for the £27 (Pay for an Admiral nurse) option. There were three different fix priced options, £10, £27 and £70.

I then filled in all details email addresses etc.

Maybe you need to fill those in or go for one of the "fixed price" options to get a thank you email. (Or maybe it's in your "Junk" folder?)

Sorry I didn't quite match your very generous donation Madprof. Hopefully the collective sum of all donations will make a difference.

I will make sure my son Gary does at least £27 too, although for those donating, all donations large, medium or small, I am sure will be well received.

So no problem if you can't do much, I know it's a tough time of year for a lot of people with all the Christmas bills to pay.

Thanks to you all for participating.

    Happy New Year all!

Only teasing..I probably did get an email thank you letter but deleted it before Helen ( the boss) queried it!

When I saw the options, I thought about pressing the £27 fixed option but as I had promised(myself) to pay £37.50-ffs I normally win at least 1 bounty!

So all paid up-as declared and a worthy charity!

    HNY to all

    No worries.

It was very good of you to stick to your pledge even when not getting the bounty.

I hope 2019 is good for you and that there are plenty of bounties in it. :=)

Thanks again for your participation and very generous donation.

    Cheers,

Hi - and congrats Chrisdonkb :)

I've finally got on pc today rather than ipad so I've just sent the donation now. I did click the gift aid box so hope they can collect extra from the tax man

Thanks again Graham for running these posts - sometimes we need a little nudge (or rather I do as I'm completely unorganised lol).
