I'll be making a few changes in the next 2 months to the comp. From the 1st September the following will happen: You will be able to play the comp without registering on the forum. Reasons being: 1 Several players play week in week out and never get included. 2 Often players in a team, play and think they are automatically registered. 3 If I edit the mtt description in the lobbies is should encourage more players to play thus increasing the prize pool.
From the 1st October Hopefully with players now auto registered, saying who you are and what team/Indy you play for will not be needed. With this in mind ALL team elements of the comp will be scrapped. It will be five years to the month of when I reformatted the team leagues so the timing seems right. There's currently only One team captain that plays and one team that win the brags each month so with so little competition the team element has run its course, I blame social media Registration close time of 2015 will now not be needed so will also be scrapped.
I will monitor the finish times of the tournaments as some have mentioned the finish is still to late for a Monday. If needed I will request the clock gets reduced from 12 to 11 minutes. Hopefully you all agree the changes will make the comp run more freely, save on admin work, open it up to more players and reward new players who stumble across it in the tournament lobby and all those who have no interest in visiting the forum. Any feedback is more than welcome.

Thanks for the feedback Wynne. Nice idea but I don't think Sky have any plans to add to the schedule until the future of the site has been sorted. Thanks for your support over the years, it's been very much appreciated. Jon
I agree with Wynne - sorry to see the teams go - I know Team 51 virtually went into liquidation a few years ago but it was nice to still play under the "badge" every now and again. Will be nice to have a few Mondays off as multi-tabling is not my chosen way of relaxation. Hope the new format is as successful as you hope it will be - thanks for the memories.
