Who won what on UKOPS Day TEN, Sunday 3rd November.

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,670

Scary stuff last night, with £83,000 of Guarantees on offer, including back-to-back £25,000 & £30,000 affairs, but the Prize Pools exceeded that comfortably at £93,000. Much credit to Sky James who constructed as great satellite schedule as well as adding UKOPS seats galore to the Rewards Freerolls.

There was a small miss on UKOPS 62, & the £10,000 Mini proved just a tad too adventurous, coming in at £8,430.

Over the 10 days though, £400,000 was Guaranteed & the Prize Pools came in 18% higher at £471,000, which tells us that Sky Poker have some seriously loyal players, & that the Big Cheeses at Sky Towers - mainly Sky James on this occasion I suspect - pitched it just so. Much credit to him for constructing a great satellite schedule as well as adding UKOPS seats galore to the Rewards Freerolls.

Well done to all concerned, on both sides of the table.

    UKOPS 58 £8,000 Bounty Hunter (£10,140)

    Quite a step up for the winner, dewy30, who last appeared in a Results Thread in early April when he ran 6th in Sheriff.

    In 3rd was AB0151 making his first FT of the Series, though I suspect he has not played many.

    Woebegone was 5th with stack_u, who ran 3rd in the £10,000 Rebuy on Wednesday, 6th here.

    UKOPS 59 £25,000 Super High Roller (£27,000)

    I fancy this one may have caused some furrowed brows in the Leeds Head Office, a £530 buy-in £25,000 Guarantee jobbie is a rare beast on Sky Poker, but it got over the line with a few to spare.

    What a battle this was too, with Ben @f3nix35 taking the honours &, I think, the 2nd biggest cash of the entire UKOPS. Nice work by a genuinely nice lad.

    Proving that age is no barrier in poker, none other @NChanning was 2nd. I very much doubt Neil subscribes to RIO training videos or study groups, & he devotes a lot of his time to horse racing, politics & generally being witty on Twitter, but if you can play you can play & the old fella can still break out a move or two.

    3rd, 4th & 5th were all heavy-hitters in alancarr12, Alvez & Super_Oli.

    binkmenow & buddha350 (6th & 7th) are both very highly rated. binkmenow was making his first appearance in a Sky Poker MTT since May 5th.

    @f3nix35 540000 1 £8640

    @NChanning 0 2 £4860

    @alancarr12 0 3 £3375

    @Alvez11 0 4 £2835

    @binkmenow 0 6 £1971

    UKOPS 60 £30,000 MAIN EVENT (£36,000)

    This was the biggest 1st prize of the series, & not surprisingly, it was the best result Max_Bear has ever had here. He played 14 UKOPS in all, & this was the only one he finalled. Timing, eh?

    Runner-up KOBAC was last sighted in these thread in August when he ran 2nd in a Sharpshooter, but for the most part he plays more modestly priced events, so this was a stonker of a result for him.

    Abdul, aka HAYSIE was a tremendous 3rd, & makes history by being the oldest player ever to Final a UKOPS Main Event. Be great if he put some of the £3,000 he earned towards a seat at SPT Manchester, as it gives me someone to abuse. It's OK to abuse him as it's water off a duck's back.

    Danny, aka ItsOver4U had previously had a 5th & a win in the Series, but he won more in 4th here than he did in the 5th & win.

    SNG specialist nutter5932 was 5th for £2,016, you gotta win a whole lot of SNG's & DYM's to make that sort of money, so well done Benjamin.

    @Max_Bear 3600000 1 £9180

    @KOBAC 0 2 £5220

    @HAYSIE 0 3 £3096

    @Itsover4u 0 4 £2376

    @Nutter5932 0 5 £2016

    Wayyyyyy too many cashees to namecheck individually, but well done to the Forum regulars chrisdonkb, gac123, StayOrGo, LmfaoAllin, gadgerno1 & of course Duesenberg who snuck in by the narrowest of margins.

    UKOPS 61 £10,000 Mega Mini B/Hunter (£10,000)

    Bit annoying that this Guarantee was missed, but to be fair it was very ambitious.

    I'm sorry to say I know nothing about the winner, he's never posted on the Forum & never featured in a results thread. Nice win though, best part of £1,600 from a Mini is well handy.

    Sharki0 has plenty of good wins but could not quite get over the line this time, ditto Mean Machine in 4th, who we can look forward to seeing at SPT Manchester.

    UKOPS 62 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£4,000)

    This missed Guarantee, but only a couple of hundo, so not a big deal. Bound to happen on the last day of a 10 day Series.

    Mean-machine made it 2 finals in a row & made no mistake this time.

    Good to see The Grumpy One in 2nd, though 1st would have been better, in case the thought had not struck him. At one stage Grumps was 1st & cpfc was 2nd, & you can be assured that was more about bragging rights than money. cpfc has enough money anyway, he's mega-loaded.

    UKOPS 63 £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£4,350)

    I suppose in some ways it is fitting that miniman took this down, he's been on fire for a month or so now, winning stuff left right & centre, not forgetting SPT Notts. He ran 2nd in the Total Player Leaderboard too. And he's a Gooner, so he deserves some pleasure in life.

    If this were a horse race it'd be a Gpoup 1, it has so many winners in it. bluecall, jordz & JonTSnow all won an event during UKOPS, & 6th placed Lord Crush won 2.

    These boys can play.

    UKOPS 64 £2,000 Hyper Bounty Hunter (£2,840)

    Kidpoke450 had a great UKOPS too, winning 2 events, cashing a few times & 2nd here.

    Solack made several FT's, well done him, though I can't forgive him for that beat he put on me at an SPT recently, & in 6th place, there's our man again.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,450)

    A pretty standard Quickdraw Final Table.

    Variance is a brutal thing, & I must make mention of The Bates. He never played a full schedule, but even if he only ran at neutral ev expectation I'm sure he would have booked a win or two. Tough gig poker when you don't get the breaks.

    SPT Grand Final Semi (25 entries)

    A bunch of good guys & familiar names booked their SPT Manchester seats, & note Lord Crush won his 2nd Manchester seat, what a finish to UKOPS he has had.

    Chrisdonkb at last hit some cards too, just as the party was ending. Win SPT Manchester & it'll all feel great. StayorGo was nailed on to book his seat & duly obliged.

    On Friday I wrote;

    If perseverance counts for anything, thisltedu will win a seat to SPT Manchester, he's booked his seat in Sunday's Semi & hopefully he'll prevail this time.

    It's not often I'm right, but now & then I get lucky. Well done Donald.

    Well that's us done for this UKOPS.

    64 events, almost all of them covered Guarantee, the software behaved, the players were loyal to the site & Sky James played a blinder. Pretty good, huh?

    On behalf of the forum community, thanks for the time and effort that you put into these daily UKOPS reports Tikay. Looked forward to reading them every day to see who won what.

    Nice to see Sky Poker giving Neil Channing some of his retirement package early ;)

    I take it no MINI UKOPS on the horizon?

    Roll on Xmas December UKOPS (If there is one, that is)

    Brilliant write-ups as always Tikay. Many thanks for the vote of confidence it must have tipped the balance. Either that or getting AA one off the bubble into AKs.
    Delighted to win my seat to Manchester and look forward to catching up with you and the rest of the gang.

    I was like a hold up horse ridden by Jamie Spencer in that tournament last night. Totally buried in rear the whole way I was 30th/30, 20th/20, 15th/15, 10th/10 and I thought I'd timed my run to perfection when I hit the front with three left only to duck the issue up the run in.

    Tough final table but good fun.
