Hi TK, I wont manage to Manchester as I have another trip pre booked, can seats be held over for future events, or is the 1st seat compulsory to use ?
Cheers, good luck with the SPTs and a Happy New Year to you.

Hi George...... HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and Lesley.

This is what is in the T&C's....

    4. Any seat won through satellites not used during the SPT Manchester may be used at a future SPT event of the same value. At least one of the player's seats must be used in Manchester to be allowed to carry over any spare seats.

It's a shame you're away, but I'm sure you will be having a good time in the Sun somewhere. You will both be missed in Manchester :(

    Hi George @glencoelad

Worth noting, that after Manchester, the only SPT scheduled at present is Brighton, (Las Vegas excepted, which is a different price) which I sense would be a bit far for you & Mrs Dev.

    PS - VBOL in Madrid.

......and GOOD LUCK in Madrid B) ..... it will defo be warmer than Manchester
We will probably have some of the white stuff, as it normally snows around my Birthday (8th Feb).

Hope you might both think about going to Brighton. It doesn't take too long......
Flight Edinburgh to Gatwick (1 hour 20mins-ish). Train (run every 15mins) from airport to Brighton (30 mins). Rendezvous Casino is a great venue too. :)

    Bump

This might interest some folk living up north who are looking for SPT travel - Northern Rail currently have a 10p flash sale, which includes tickets to/from Manchester Victoria (15-20 minute walk from the casino) during SPT weekend.

Definitely going to come along to SPT since it's going to cost me the same as a carrier bag from Morrisons each day, although I probably won't be playing - Hopefully see a few other forum regs there too :)

Great news Andy, look forward to seeing you.

Been a while since we bumped into each other. I'll be the old fat bloke sat in the corner. Try not go confuse me with @HAYSIE, he's older & fatter.

Brace yourself for legal action, my legal representatives mean business.

My Christmas socks will be in attendance.

Anybody know the name of the hotel directly opposite the casino exit?

I wish I could get hold of the genuine Abdul, as he was staying there when my taxi picked him up.

    @HAYSIE

You sure you are not thinking of SPT Nottingham?

The Crowne Plaza is smack bang opposite the Alea in Nottingham. There's no Hotel opposite 235 Manchester that I'm aware of, though 2 or 3 are within easy walking distance.

    @HAYSIE

The Abdul affair (& thus the Hotel identity) was definitely Nottingham, not Manchester.

Honestly, not being rude like, but have you considered going into one of those Old People's Care Homes? They look after you in those places.

    Hi Mark,

Please disregard my last email. I have been reliably informed that what I was describing was in Nottingham, rather than Manchester.

I shouldn't be allowed out of the house really.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Kind Regards

    Tony Hayes

    Hi Mark,

Maybe I was dreaming, but when I was leaving on my last visit, your receptionist was kind enough to book me a taxi. I was directed to the exit where the taxi would arrive, I am certain that the first taxi to arrive pulled into the entrance of the hotel opposite.
This was directly opposite your exit.

    Kind Regards

    Tony Hayes

If I have any doubts, I'll just ask for views on Brexit - I'm sure I could sneak away from @HAYSIE mid-diatribe and he wouldn't notice. ;)

Hi Tony @HAYSIE. I've just had an e-mail from Jury's Inn saying they have a 48 hour FLASH SALE coming very soon, and the hotel is a 5 minute stroll from the Casino. So near that @essexphil and I didn't even get out of Breath!

    Nice hotel too :)

Ok thanks, I have been looking at the Radisson, which is quite close.

Please let me know when the sale is on.
