Where have i heard this Porkerman before, oh yeh thats right, he told porkies and cheated in the guess the goals competition a few months back, went back and changed his answer after the event, but couldn't outsmart our very own skyrich, so my question is, if you are prepared to cheat in a £5.50 forum guess the goals competition, why would anyone trust you with thousands of pounds?
atm I'm forcing myself to stay awake for lectures at 2.. unfortunately over the last like 5 days I've managed to become completely nocturnal therefore I must stay up all day to enable me to get back to a normal sleeping pattern.
Back in the late 90's what was then the old and now defunked 'Laddies forum, a guy very much like "pokerman" (might be the same guy for all I know)came on the forum and said, he was a top-player and wanted to promote a massive LIVE poker event, it would be held at a top hotel in the London Area, over 3 days ..as yet to be-arranged ....
Entry buy-in was to be 400 pound .. Limited entries on a first come first served basis, 1000 runners .. PM him for details as to where the entry money was to be sent ....
Nice scam if he could have got away with it, the problem he failed to see, (although people were actually saying they wanted a ticket ????)
As I pointed out at that time, there wasn't a Hotel in the country let alone London that could hold an event that size .. Suddenly the penny dropped for some ...hahaha
